That's not really true. His voice has lost a lot, especially live. In the studio, his voice has changed for the worse over the years. If you really want to hear prime Zander, I remember seeing a long while back on KZread that somebody had posted a complete band rehearsal prior to the "All Shook Up" tour. I've really missed that Zander. And I've missed Bun E. Carlos, I hate generic click track drummers and all that bullshit.

@@jarneymatt2646 Nah, it often seems like he's struggling. And then combine that with a voice that has lost the tenor range that made it really good. And it's become beefier and croonier, kinda like a heterosexual Elton John. If he even *attempted* to sing George Martin's "World's Greatest Lover" now, it would be a freak show.

This band is beyond fantastic & has been for decades. DECADES.

It's hard these days to be grateful. But I'm so grateful for CT's kick-ass music all these years. They were the first concert I ever saw (Champaign, IL 1979 age 15...& so many more since). And I plan to intentionally make them my last one too. ...Unless, that is, I get to see them again someday in Another World.

Sometimes you hear the first note of a song and say oh man what a great fuckin song this is one of those songs❤️🎼☘️

A song of HOPE.

This is one of the most elevating Cheap Trick songs ever written! It promotes love, unity and positivity in the face of loss and hardship. I saw them perform recently. They played a lot of standard CT songs. “Standing On the Edge” sounded great! But I really wanted to hear “Another World” and other awesome tunes from their latest record.

Finding out Cheap Trick released a new album was the good news I needed! After hearing the new songs on KZread, I instantly ordered my copy. Their best since "Rockford!"

Always been a great band how they can still produce albums of this calibre is only testament to how good they really are. All such solid musicians, Rick Nielsen in particular is a phenomenal guitarist in that kind of bluesy sleezy punk style truly a great player

I've been a fan since I was a little kid. I remember in the early 80's my mom would play your records to me. Later on when I first got into animation I fell in love with your music for Heavy Metal & Rock & Rule. You'll always be my Ohm, sweet ohm. I love you, Cheap Trick. For always and forever.

Was memorable. There was Bun E., high up on the riser above them all, raining down the thunder. His masterful playing laying down the groove melding with and covering the bass and infusing life into the chording. Spontaneous, ,inspired, machine like, cohesive kind of drumming that sends shivers up the spine. C.T. just don't serve up the same deli style flavor sandwich with no Bun in the oven.@@Angel_Silver

If they would release songs like this instead or crap like "boys and girls..." and the record company got behind them, they would be on the charts again.

They miss Bun E.'s drums terribly.

Loved Cheap Trick all my life but after the way they treated Bun E.Carlos I'm done with them.Glad Bun E. got to drum at RRHOF induction but Daxx is a poor substitute for Bun. At least he rightfully owns 1/4 of the band.
