This was a great video and a glimmer of hope for my shitty rented property/kitchen. However, I seriously don’t think I could dismantle my kitchen as so much of the cabinetry around the sink has rotted from damp. I think if I was to start taking my kitchen apart I may not get it back together again. Highly frustrating situation as my landlady is super stingy! I may just end up painting the cabinets as they are and try to replace the cupboard/drawer handles. Anyway, always enjoy your content. Thanks!
This was a pretty cool (practical) experiment that I bet a lot of people wrestle with. We have oak cabinets that we want to paint - they're perfectly fine faceframe cabinets, but they are that classic 90's Golden Oak finish - we'd love to update them. When you used the Rust-Oleum product, did it hide the grain at all? Thank you! Just found your channel via a link from another content creator (Zac Builds I think) - great stuff!

@@RemarkableWoodworks for now, enjoying the freedom of my kids being back in school. The rest is a long story. Just ready to do something else but still construction related. I’ll be more vague next time.
