Been using the Life Gear Flashlight lantern as shown since last year with no problems. They’re bright, highly visible to boaters, and the replaceable AA batteries last long. If you don’t want to attach them to your rods, you can also glue them to a platform and attach to a pvc pipe to make a DIY light pole(Flying Fish TV has it mounted this way).
