Oh Ghana and our lack of maintenance. This house was so beautiful in early 2000 when I used to hawk for my used obroni wewu shoes. I had so many customers there. Hmmmmm, today watching the same place from USA. In those times, I would walk from Ashaiman through Community 9 , through Community 3 to Nautical college with my big Ghana must go with shoes, and some in my hands. Hmmmmm, time changes indeed

Hi Ama. All the complexes you did show us are good but for the roads There are lots of trees & essential facilities within easy reach of the individual complexes, which is good for community spirit. I love it. I am sure many of your viewers would also love it. The trees made the difference for me (as well as the architecture) from other properties I have seen before on KZread. Thanks.

This is the kind of housing I would build to sell if I invested in real estate in my country Nigeria .Homes that average Africans can afford to buy and live in, in the towns and cities . If the people own them they will be motivated to maintain them like people do in American suburbs. Low rise apartment /condo buildings in well planned communities .This place she is showing was built by the Tema housing cooperation as housing for middle income Ghanaians.

I was born and raised in Tema comm 9 , cemetery rd. Close to redemption valley primary school. Comm 9 is one of the oldest communities and most houses are 40 to 50 years old. People have extended their homes , encroaching on air space and becoming unwelcoming and crowded looking . But hey, that’s my home. I live in the states now but comm 9 is my hood.

We wouldn't need to travel if Ghana had always been like this. So it was possible after all. Over the years , only just a few could afford this and only less fewer people enjoyed such luxury. The reason then for DIASPORA. Why would one leave Ghana if conditions were such that we can all afford and enjoy our dreams , rather than only a selected few. In all this , it is a win, win situation. We came to acquire some education and now we can back and build a better Ghana.

We have some of these projects in Lartebiokorshie -Nkrumah Flat, Dansoman -Ssnit Flat and inside Korle Bu. Tema is beautiful but higher expenses of living than Accra. Jaz you should be dressing like this, your outfit is dope!

These are old Government built blocks, more like SSNIT flats. The roads need to be tarred and most of the buildings need a makeover and definitely some FRESH PIANT.In conclusion NOT too bad a place to live.
