Just an FYI, the factory manifolds are cast "steel" (not cast "iron") and weld quite well. Having your fab/wilding skills, I might have "pie-cut" and rewelded the factory manifolds and saved the $140 for an upgraded fuel pump, aluminum rad or something that might have been overlooked (which NEVER happens!🤣). GREAT work so far. It's refreshing to see an out of the ordinary ride being saved from the crusher. Once these are gone, they're gone forever

Great work as usual I think those manifolds might help with my clearance issues with putting 6 liter in a 50 buick I just about got the frame issues straightened out from previous owners hack work

Great video, Nice find on those manifolds I've never heard of them before. Do you plan on relocating the gas tank to the rear or ate you going to keep it at the stock front location?

I got the same headers on my truck

eBay blemishes! Ha! I went through 3 Dorman ford 5.4 3valve manifolds before I got one with out a hole going through the port due to bad castings. I’m glad I noticed it before putting it on. I’d been pissed!

Use the Deboss garage jumper cable method to get that stud does not come out simply

With aluminum head and steel bolts you get galvanic corrosion. 12v, with the positive on the bust bolt/stud and negitive to the block. The the stud get hot and or red. Let it cool and oit she comes. Works great it hard to get places

They’re there own casting I believe, I could be wrong though.

Will the engine mounts allow the manifold to contact the frame

I have 1985 cutlass salon I wonder will these fit I been doin research I see few people have the dm 3303 if you know any information plz let me know thanks 💪🏿
