Which camera app? I bought the the camera and have tried 10 different aps. None work with my Android 10 device. Says it is OTG compatible.

Would this be good to look down into a manual transmission? In the gear box threw the fill or drain bolt

I have a direct injection Mini Copper S. I want to see how much carbon is on the intake, not just the piston. Does this one with some attachment or mirror that will allow u to see the values?

About ten years ago I bought one from the tool shop that has about a 3inch screen, yeah it works and has been heaps handy, but was about $150. This one, if it has the ability to plug In to a tablet for a good view, I reckon it's awesome value.

Good review! I see you use Mobizen to screen capture. Love that Android App. I see this is a 720P camera. I've read there are 1080P ones... off looking for one!

This is an awesome tool for the money. The only initial issue I had was getting use to the focusing. Other than that you can't beat it for the price.

Can you provide the camera app please? Link?

I bought a similar unit. Scanned the qr code for the app and got malicious website message. And it never worked.

Wow you really can't go wrong with this.. basic, simple, and pretty damn clear... I remember when boroscopes were like $600 for a bulky handheld device with a total shit picture that ate up batteries, but it was the most trick thing in my toolbox at the time lol

I'm wondering the same thing cuz I don't see it being very useful for looking at valves which is a big issue on Motor Vehicles as the tip appears to be stiff the first 2-3 inches

I tried 3 different phones before I got it to work. Huawei Moto7 and then a Samsung, and if the 45-degree mirror doesn't work it probably has a plastic protective film that must be removed

From what I can work out, you need to go in to your phones administration file and activate utc and another setting, im yet to do it but that's the problem apparently

I got one from ebay, works good it just won't record audio, I'm i missing a special connector maybe?

Me too. I'm wondering if it'll work well as a rear view camera so I can ditch my mirror's. Probably not though.

I have one too - used it to figure out how to get my car door opened after the outside handle quit working and I foolishly set the child lock on the door and closed it... Went down through the window opening while the window was rolled down. :)

It was just built in to the random webcam app (dont have the phone handy right now) There are some pretty good standalone ones on the Play Store as well.

I want to test it with the Alfred app. I have some investigating to do.

I got one that was a serious POS. It wouldnt do anything.You cannot focus it and the LED over washed everything. The app was terrible. It was hard to see anything and it kept acting up. Garbage for the money. Buyer beware.

Will this work for people's ears?

Honestly this looks like it sucks as much as all the other cheap endoscopes. Very short fixed focus and dim light mean you can't use it for stuff like looking in wall cavities. As far as I can tell you need to spend about £300 to get something decent.

Another reason android is better than apple. Apple would never allow somthing like this to be compatible . If they did they would charge $200 for it.

Needs only to be used for real shit and only gets to be put on by the goverment
