Cheap Eecoo "18000 lumens" divelight.

To be true, my set works like a charm.
As you could see by the two photos at the end, it loses a lot of power during the time, using at max power with 2200mAh 18650 batteries.
Maybe a set of 3400mAh is better...
Lot of blue light will demand a use of a yellow filter.
Forgot to say:
A Double press of the right button will start a strobe mode with red/blue flashing quickly.
Press again to stop.
At 3':33'' and after, of course I mean 50% and 25% and NOT 5000% and 2500%...
Sorry, guys. :)

I love the light, I mean it could be used like a police light. lol I had a problem with mine when i got it. I bought some 4000mAh 3.7V batteries and the white light would not work. I think the problem was that the 4000mAh batteries were too much power. Then one day i took up the light and it worked.😃

Overtime did it survived? How was the waterproof resistance? It's ok to dive with it or it's not reliable enough?!

Both of mine have failed after about 50ish dives. One flooded, the other still works but the buttons corroded and broke off. The buttons are aluminum and get corroded fast, even with rinsing after dives.

    why would you use 1/8000?

I use 1/32000 sometimes with my a9. When I am shooting in a very bright condition, or against the Sun and with strobes, for example, and want to use an f/1.4 or even 1/2.0 for shallow depth of field. That is why you wanna use 1/8000 or faster shutter speed: larger apertures under ultrabright conditions and no ND filters.

If you meant 18000 lumens... you need to come dive at Portugal to understand why.

@@RTCtraventureI guess all do the same. From these cheap ones to nemo powertools' ones... then just turn off and on again and they should be good to go. I have read somewhere about that being a failsafe of the electronics board. But at the time of this video I hadn't yet read that.
