Oh honey. I lost my mama on September right before my birthday and my dad has early onset dementia, so we are losing him too. It’s so hard losing a parent, sending good vibes and peace to you.

Spices. It is similar to Indian fried chicken. But idk what they use tho. Maybe some turmeric or safron or chili powder on marinating. Even red food coloring i guess.

Me too!! It looked dreamy! I feel like he maybe didn’t have a big smile but that he is a kind person. He honestly looked like he had arthritis (his knuckles) and I felt bad thinking he’s in pain.

Old timers are always the best in every food market ❤ some of these markets are also father son/ mother daughter operations that go on for generations if you look hard enough and ask the locals! I just love how this part of our collectively universal culture of food markets remains virtually untouched to this day.
