I just got the axle housing , the stock axial internals fit perfectly....so for no issues work well

This is great info...thank you! I've been thinking of ordering these axles but I want to be able to change the gearing so that I can overdrive the front and/or underdrive the rear. also good to know that I can replace the gears with stock axial parts if/when the gears wear/fail.

I've get the 1st gen on these with rectangular portals about 4 years ago now, still going strong but with heaps of play now. You'll get plenty of great miles out of them.

I got one of These sets And I must say, it’s the worst crappy chinesium metals I’ve encountered I took everything apart and greased it up first thing out of the box Front pinion gear lasted ~1 battery Rear pinion gear lasted ~2-3 batteries Front axle, the longer skinny piece from axle to portal snapped on a roll over on the 5th battery.. stock axles ran fine for 2 years before rear pinion started making some clicking noise When Chinese pinions failed I put the stock 2yo gears in to the China axles and they worked fine until the front axle snap Started thinking about GPM axles as they have removable axle extensions But I can’t find any replacement extensions so I might just go for one of the only real safe options -treal axle?? or maybe stick to the tried and tested very cheap stock plastic (as they held up fine for two years)

The sparkle paint is big red flag. The metal is probably white/grey alloy. One drop and it could crumble. Bare aluminum would look better if it was of decent quality. A casting could be good if it was a clean high quality aluminum.

i ordered a vs 410 from vanquish and when i got it ,,it had made in china on the box,so buying from china does away with their markup on price

Cheap axles are great cheap portals are not. Soon as you fall of a cliff or roll down a hill your gonna snap the portals right off because on the portal versions the portal casing is incredibly thin

for this cheap product, i won't take it to high hills, i just use it for matches. i have been torturing this product for 3 months and it still works fine, i think it is well worth it priced at $ 90 compared to the vanquish axle which is 10 times the price of this axle.

Need to replace all bearing with sealed bearings instead of metal shielded. Not worth the money. Cast cheap metal axle housings that wont hold up
