Jackfruit is a superfood and very delicious. Here's what to do with the seeds: dry them under the sun, dry roast stirring constantly till the tough skin splits. Let cool then whack each with a pestle to easily remove the tough outer shell , remove the nutty flesh , proceed to recipe. Try curry or use to replace potato. She has such a charismatic personality. Nobody is like her in YT.

Hey Angela! This vid is great! I am of Indian descent and my father was born and raised in Kampala, because my grandfather worked as an accountant for Barclay's bank. While my family was in England when the Last King of Scotland took power, we had family friends who were marched to Kenya. I am very glad to see things are much better now. As winter is coming here in Canada, this vid makes me warm inside!💕

I'm a lil thick light skin black woman from Sacramento California and even though we couldn't look more different, you make me feel so close to my African heritage and not so far off from the people I originate from. Before they were taken away on slave ships. I pray I get to see the mother land some day. ❤️

@Codedage woah bro, why so hostile on such a positive note. I'm only complementing her and how she makes me feel. Chill, try to lower your blood pressure before you go KZreading next time lol. XD Jk, but seriously, being displaced by slavery can make a person feel far away from their heritage, and as far as being a black woman, you are looking too far into my own complex human emotions. Mind your business and you wouldn't be so pressed. ☺️

After a certain amount of generations in a new land that place should be your home populations are always migrating throughout history. Also Africa is a huge continent with many countries with different languages, religions, cultures that are completely separate and unconnected. Just because your black doesn't mean you have any connection to her culture. Sucks that you don't feel at home though.

Actually, soursop is native to the Carribean, and jackfruit to South-East Asia. There are many, many indigenous wild fruits from Africa which you won’t see on youtube such as litongue fruit in Congo, grewia species in Tanzania, and literally thousands more.

You know what's interesting, ethnic peoples similarities. I was born in Fiji but left quickly however on my many returns with my mum and grandmother, all of these fruits, the markets with the flax mats full of produce from locals, the freshwater prawns are all the same. The same in south east Asia. Our cultures are similar, our values are similar, our gossip and stereotypes are similar. Its like seeing cousins from different parts of the world.
