Wow. What a unique way to protect the outdoor unit, I was searching for the exact solution. I have ordered this recently only.

Only one thing is that elastic bands should have heat protection sleeves so that the heat coming out of the outdoor unit damage the elastic bands.

Metallic Spring ties should be a better option.

Great product to install on AC outdoor units. I have personally installed it on my 4 AC units. Definetly worth the money and the quality and uses are ultimate. Really appreciate the person behind this idea. This was long coming. 👍

And u don't even need this. The units are designed to run under heavy rain. There is no part in the ac that can't take a bit of water . U can submerge the compressor under water and it will run like nothing happened. The fan and everything is desinged to ingest water of the heaviest rain possible and still function properly till their rated service life...

I don’t think it will protect the outdoor unit’s plastic grill or the plastic fan from sun’s UV rays. Also the elastic cords for this cover will eventually fail due to UV rays.

you should peel double sided tape and clean surface to bond top cover to paint and keep it secured with tape and straps.brown tape needs peeling
