I don't have a passport or driving licence, either. I once spent a month living in a tent in the woods - it was heaven!

I miss the days when I was oblivious to all this stuff but now I just naturally notice the lies in the media and by politicians and it jars me everytime. No TV either. Certain people went mad after the Brexit vote and then President Trump being voted in - and have never regained sanity....... A democracy is about respectfully accepting what the majority vote for after all. Bizarre world at the moment - I'm happeir in the garden letting it pass me by.

Just been out to pick a few broad beans, and check on a couple of early tomato plants, it is misty here in the Sierra Nevada foothills, and terracotta dust (la Calima) is blowing over from the Sahara and covering everything. Still, the wind is warm and recent rain has got everything looking for the sky. I know the garden will be battered by unrelenting sun for many weeks, but I can feel it getting ready, and a wet week is forecast. Your comment about the garden really resonated. I go out, maybe to the compost heap, and the cat and I sit together. Sometimes I sit and think, and sometimes I just sit.

I'm not sure that results reflect votes ! Certainly some people are being placed in positions to act as conduits for the agenda of faces & names we don't know, otherwise we would not be in an upside-down world where wrong is called right and the views & morals of the general public are ignored completely. It didn't happen because of a series of mistakes birthed a monster !

I don't have a passport or valid drivers license, I found the conversation very interesting, Im not a fan of news broadcasts often as you say you just get the headlines, I don't buy or read newspapers and for years did not have a TV. I've heard of these places you were talking about, also retirement villages, Im retired and I would rather live in a community of all ages,we can learn a lot from all age groups, We used to have a shop in our village called " Down the Rabbit Hole" great shop charity run for adults with learning difficulties. There were lots of hand crafted items upcycled furniture colourful artwork etc.. a small cafe. a real community base. Sadly closed . No banks but getting close on a dozen bars. Craft beer, wine bars, Pubs, small businesses are having to close down because of high rates . need I go on. 👏Thank you for Extra Extra. 🌞

Get us all into little villages , separate us all ? Hmmm sounds like divide and conquer to me

We all yearn for the good old days, but that’s the way they’re selling their open air prisons…and when the only communications and news from other areas is via their internet channels, just think of all those individual grouped societies and communities and the different social experiments they can run? It’s bad enough now even with people travelling freely between regions.

Electric vehicles, all electric homes, smart phones and no cash. Sounds so perfect…….until the grid goes down whether by solar flare or man made mischief….oops nothing works. Can’t buy food, cant find out what’s happening outside our 15 minute bubble……freedom gone.

There is a good reason to let yobs get away with stealing stuff. The shops will have to close down because losing so much stock on a daily basis is not financially viable. So you have to get everything online. They then control what you can buy.😢

You don't need to go anywhere to get a voter ID card. You can do it online, even on your phone. All you need is a photo which can be taken with your phones camera.

I remember when 2013 was the date something had to be done about climate change, and after that it was irreversible. Well, I watched 2013 come and go; everything carried on much the same. So why the fuss now? We've gone 11 years after the whole thing is irreversible anyway. (apparently!) Plus if we have no cash what happens to cash in hand arrangements for tradesmen, car boot sales etc?

Since ozstralia is in the south, you'd think that we'd be really cold here and it once snowed in parts of Melbourne Victoria,; but certainly it does not now😅, even it snows in new York or does it now; They've seemingly changed alot since 1945? 6? +-+? God help us all 🙏 's in abundances.

Oh my gosh, all those books. My daughter would be in her element.

Relatives might come to you, but what if you live many miles from relatives or family? Public transport is all to often shit. What if i don't want to shop at stores in a 15 mins city /town?. Human rights imply the right of freedom of movement and thought, etc. So, modifications coming to human rights? Wasn't it some European country in the 1930s/1940s who imposed similar policies? A 1000 year reich emerging?

As noted this would reduce efficiency. as most people travel to work well over 15 minutes by car how far will they get on a bike in 15 minutes ? Then things lik hospitals, doctors, police larger shops. Could all be many miles away. They are a stupid unworkable idea from stupid silly people who don’t. appreciate. any of the complexities and impracticalities. This like everything they come up with will fail. and money will be wasted. Net zero is totally impossible as soon as you look at removing fossilfuels and already gas power stations. are needed to provide base load and terminate net zero policy unless we can build 200 nuclear power stations by 2050.

No it is not down to man, well 1% . The oceans produce 90% co2, the planet needs co2. Lot of tosh just to make certain people richer.
