"GPT is not a replacement for human interaction, human creativity, intuition, and expertise, and in the short to medium term there will be a need for human data scientists to interpret and apply the insights generated by GPT. Technical only workers will be displaced unless they ramp up their skillsets. Overall, the impact of GPT on the data science field is likely to be complex and multifaceted, and will depend on how the technology continues to develop, as well as on broader economic and social trends. However, it seems likely that GPT will play an important role in the future of data science, whether as a replacement for human workers or as a valuable tool for enhancing human productivity and creativity." -Generated by GPT 4 API 😆

For now, but when manager and supervisor become more accustomed to what GPT 4 can do they will raise their expectations and standards or what is reasonable work. So there will be more work and the nature of the work will change.

There are so many companies stuck using legacy technology from decades ago and will remain behind on new technology strategies like automation tools. Also, these AI tools will be just that, tools that those of us in Data Science (and many other industries) can utilize to make our jobs easier for certain tasks and open up new problems that need to be tackled during the process.

Hey Dave great Videos, very inspiring One thing to mind, AI development is via a "Language model", this is not a "Knowledge model" But we can bridge this gap with a framework, knowledge and let the "language model" navigate through this framework ("pdfs" for example) We really need to accompany all this development and become experts in prompting, asking the right questions

Chat GPT-5 will most likely have all of these features instead of GPT-4 as they pointed out that's their main goal around the future models, to extend its ability beyond mere text input and output. I am quite excited to see how far we can get with such powerful tools as individuals.

One can do the same with pandas-ai package only difference is that you have to load the data into a data frame and after that it behaves the same way. Infact langchain already has panda data frame agent which can effectively do the same thing.

I think the social skills and domain expertise will be relevant in the medium term, but long term (10 years) work culture as we know it could be completely irrelevant. After that point I do think the authenticity you provide as a human will still be valuable for however long there are humans that seek a human connection. A certain percent of people will give you their time just because you are a real human so I would say the best future proofed skills you can develop are charisma, acting, and content creation.

Good video. I'm a data analyst and in the company I work, I build automated reports which are formatted to be consistent to run weekly or monthly. ChatGPT is incredible, but if you give the same prompt 10 times you may get 10 different results (all may be valuable but still inconsistent). Is there a way for ChatGPT to be setup to give the same results every time you give it a particular prompt? Also, I'm genuinely worried about our species having all our jobs replaced and people not being able to make a living in a capitalistic society. Even if you learn everything about AI, chatgpt, etc. I worry our economic system may collapse overall. Thoughts?

If you use the API, you can change the "temperature" of the model. I believe you can set it between 0 and 1. Where 0 is almost deterministic (same results every time). Many, many jobs will be replaced by AI, but there will be new jobs as well.

I do have access to browsing + plugins, I did manage to get into the console and then the network tab, then i basically pressed Ctrl R and it reloaded giving some extra options, then i pressed some where randomly, and found a tab called "Beta features" I was shocked by that, i clicked it and it gave the following code: {browsing: true, code_interpreter: false, plugins: true} browsing : true code_interpreter : false plugins : true This code is fairly obvious, It says i have browsing and plugins, but it says false to code interpreter. What im trying to say here is that the code interpreter will be coming with beta features instead of coming at the time that plugins and browsing release Check the comments for more info (If i find anymore)

There's no reason why AI won't be better at interpersonal relationships than actual people, that's obvious... You ever tried asking ChatGPT to teach you some data analysis technique in a real nice way? Idk why you think this is an area humans could accel over AI, interoffice relations? No way... Only way people will remain relevant in some line of work is to simply be able to utilize AI abilities to augment their workflows to the max or be able to orchestrate AI to focus in on your job and increase quality or quantity of your current outputs, which sounds like prompt engineering within your field of expertise. Basically AI isn't here to take your job if you can just use the AI to do your job better. At first glance it may appear to lower minimum or entry-level skill requirements for a job and seem to onboard anyone to start producing minimum output levels but it's the best use of the "the same hammer can build houses or crack walnuts depending on who's using it" anecdote because in the hands of people already at the top of their field, AI will do nothing but help them do things they didn't think they'd be doing 2 years ago. Or it's a lot like a calculator which they give to elementary school kids and rocket scientists alike, just like ChatGPT!
