Liked #82, interesting story of how one medici sister married henry and when he died she kicked out his mistress and offers a chateau!!!! What are we doing wrong here??!!!?? 😁🤣😊 I've read about the history of French being bankrupted which caused the country revolution and then heading the monarchy. No ides this rich nobleman was the French father of American revolution!!! Interesting history! Happy new year, Jim ! 😎👍

Great building, I find the style very attractive but would hate to have to finance its upkeep. Certainly has an interesting history and I have no doubt Ben Franklin would have enjoyed his time there. Nice work Jim.

Thanks, Steve 😀. Glad you liked it, and its interesting story. I think the owners now primarily finance their upkeep via visitor ticket sales. A lot of chateaus and castles do that now. Take care and enjoy your weekend 👍
