Did you watch the video? They had to or else he was gonna watch it on stream. It was literally him noticing the new video, him going to watch it right there, and his chat stopping him so he could watch it privately.

Technoblade's catchphrase,"Technoblade never dies" take new meaning though the years at first it was a joke cause in pvps because he never dies,then layer when he got cancer it become a battle cry for cancer patients cause if techno is fighting though it then so can them and now it's more sober and for remembering him since if we remember him he'll never truly die. 07 farewell sweet prince and take on the kingdom of God

That once when techno lost for dodgebolt by 2 points to tapl's team he dm'd tapl "take my energy" for dodgebolt, they had these small best friend interactions a lot of times so prolly they were

I hate that I didn't even think about TapL hearing about this. I had always thought Technoblade and TapL were the pinnacle of Minecraft KZreadrs with pure skill. And well Dream showed up too. But like TapL and Techno felt like were original true rivals. For me to have not even thought about it. Is crazy to think about. It's terrible he had to find out on stream. This is something you need to just take in and sit with for a long time. It sucks

IHonestly, while it does suck to find out that way, he very likely would've figured it out in not much time. At the very least they could get the warning through to not watch it on stream. And also, if it were me, I'd definitely want to know about something like that as soon as possible. Anyways, I'm not saying that there is no possibility of having people with bad intentions on the chat, but I sincerely wouldn't judge them. Not to mention many probably just saw a video with no context and told Harvey about this, and some might have just tried to express those feelings, just like millions did on twitter, reddit and other platforms. (Although I'd agree that the chat wouldn't be the most ideal of places, but still)

Even iShowSpeed tried to watch on stream and couldn't take it, and he didn't even know Techno. Well, that's only the first reason, tho. There's also a chance that that's not the vibe they wanted for the stream, specially since it was so recent. And the most important is that grieve is a very personal things, ofc everyone might expect you to say something about what happened, or express your condolences, but everyone needs their own private time for grieving first. If they feel comfortable and wanna do it in public, then fine, but most people don't.

Yeah no one had a problem with the people telling him to watch it off stream, it’s only the people who were straight up saying “he’s dead.” There’s literally no excuses for that behavior. Don’t encourage that behavior by saying we shouldn’t judge them, when they absolutely deserve to be. If they truly wanted what’s best for TapL, they would’ve said to watch it off stream and that’s it. Anything else is them obviously craving attention and wanting to be in the spotlight for a split second, which is INCREDIBLY selfish. He deserves to figure out himself. If someone presumes that THEY should be the one to tell him, that’s where they’re egocentric.

@@pd78342 That's far too harsh a judgement of a person's actions from a single comment, literally everyone present just found out that Techno had died, yes some people may have done it for attention but I'm sure plenty of people had started watching the video and just found and thus typed what had happened. Yes the correct response was to tell him to end stream and watch it in private but learning that someone has passed away literally minutes ago can easily make you make worse decisions. I don't think calling them out is a bad thing though, it's better if they don't do this in future, but calling them all egocentric and attention craving isn't gonna fix anything.

9:57 pm, a year and a half ago, i was sitting in my bedroom, scrolling through my youtube page, i saw the video. then i spent the next hour watching old techno vids rest in peace

I’ve been crying a lot more lately

I was resting in my room on a cruise when the video released so I watched it all excited on the bed and when techno’s dad said techno died my heart dropped and I couldn’t believe it because I watched techno since 2013 and he inspired me to be very competitive on Minecraft pvp servers and I miss him so much One of my favorite videos I watched was the skywars tips video which I found very funny and I’ll never forget him❤

This is just how much Techno was loved, we were all affected when we heard the news...

I can’t imagine how distressing that would’ve been in the moment.

It wasn’t even Chat’s fault, they did most everything they could. Tapl saw the upload, I don’t see anyone in chat mentioning the video prompting that, but I see everyone in chat saying “DON’T watch it on stream, watch it later” and of course some people did feel the need to provide context. They recommended he end stream. There was a little misstep in some people telling him Techno was dead, but I didn’t see any ill will in chat
