I use this during the winter months, I love it! It's very light weight, not heavy nor having to pull your skin trying to apply it. I have combination skin with Rosacea and it was enough coverage plus no break outs nor did I notice a smell. Now I need to find a foundation for the warm weather that is just as light weight for combo skin, this one is too hydrating for me during the summer months.

So what color should I go with? Chiffon 1cl light or Ecru 2cl light? But. I think in a light- medium neutral. Kk u might ask alot of questions about color matching Luna aster is good but I want to at around with other brands too.

I loved that Silk Creme Foundation. I used Rose Ivory I believe. I am NW 15/20 in MAC. This new one looks like the Haus Labs one. Serumy and glowy. That one is slippery too. That color match is perfect for you.

This foundation looks gorgeous on you Jenny 😍. The brush application finish is so smooth too. Thank you for the tip re oxidation. A shade going darker can end a would-be match in minutes. This LM foundation seemed to go 1-2 shades darker? For that finish, l'll add this one to my foundation wishlist 😊 xx

Hi Jenny 😊 I have this and ❤ it! I’m not sure why this just now is going viral because I got mine about 6 months ago at least probably longer than that! My skin is pretty much normal combination and it works well with it. I think it gives a nice medium coverage. I like it so much that I have a color for winter and a color for spring and summer. Enjoy!

Wow, does this foundation look gorgeous on your skin, Jenny!! I am curious how much powder you used to get it to set so it lasts all day. That is my problem with super dewy foundations on 61 year old skin, only being able to use a small amount of powder before it looks cakey. What does peak my interest is how thin the texture is, and how nicely it applies!! I'm happy for LM that they were able to develop such a beautiful foundation!! And as always, you left no stone unturned when providing all the details. I also loved the fact that you did it live, so it feels like we are just hanging out while you try a new foundation!! Hi Patti! 😇 I totally understand what you are saying about dewy foundations getting cakey when you use powder with them! That happens to me too! I actually made up my mind that I'm going to experiment more with the Mally EverColor Powerless Face Defender (the clear gel) in 2024. I just feel like I'm getting to that point where I want to really find good alternatives to powder. With this one though... If I remember correctly 🤦🏻‍♀️ 😂 I just went in with powder on the t-zone and around the pores just on the sides of my nose. Thanks also for the feedback on the live-style video. Hi Catherine! Thanks again for your great questions! Whenever I purchase a foundation, I try to get it as close to my natural skin tone as possible, but sometimes, especially if I'm ordering them online (and can't see them in person) I get a shade that looks too light , or too deep, on my skin. I find that if I show the swatch of the shade I'm trying in that video, next to swatches of other foundations people may be familiar with, it can kind of give them a frame of reference for what shade will work for THEM. For example, I have several viewers who refer to me as their shade-"twin" or they'll say, "I'm just one shade lighter than you..." so when I try out a foundation and tell them, this foundation ran light on me, then they can have a frame of reference for what shade they should get. Also, you'll notice that I always use the "Missha M BB Cream in shade 21" as my last shade when I'm swatching. That is essentially my "control swatch." It's the closest to my natural skin shade and undertone (on my face.) Again it's just to share how similar/ different the swatch I'm using that day is to my natural shade. Sometimes, I don't have an option of a shade that is very close to my natural shade, but I know that viewers are curious about the foundation, how it wears, and all the other details about it... so I will try it anyway, and just let the viewers know, "This shade is going to be "off" for me..." that way they will know I'm trying it, not so much for my own personal use, but so that I can tell them how it wears, and what I think of it. That is why I have so many foundations that look so different, even though they are in the same "general" shade range. I hope that helps! 💕🤗🦋 Have a great week!

Thanks for another fun video, Jenny. I'm so sad, I own this foundation and loved it, but the shade was not quite right. So I mixed a little bit of Maybelline superstay skintint in with the bottle, and now the shade is perfect, but the consistency is just not the same! And I only mixed in a little. I really should not have done that. Now my great foundation is just a nice foundation 😢

Hi Kathy! ❤️ Great question! The Laura Mercier is not as thin as the ReLove by Revolution Serum. Also the Relove feels a little more moisturizing (actually it feels more like an oil than the Laura Mercier.) Both are great, clearly the LM is much pricier, but they both feel hydrating to me and have a nice even coverage that didn't cake up on me. 🤗

Erin! I'm SO sorry I'm just writing back to you. 😢 For sure you have been and come back from your trip already.... I am so sorry it coincided with when I took a break from my channel (after all that happened with mom.) I feel terrible though that I wasn't able to help you before you went, because you've always been such a lovely and supportive viewer. ❤️ Just for future reference... when I need a foundation to last alllllll day, (and be sweat proof, water resistant, and just generally look at the end of the day, how it did at the beginning...) then I go with Revlon Colorstay...the version for OILY-Normal skin! I know that may sound weird because I'm always talking about how I have somewhat dry skin, but the OILY -normal version is just BETTER in my opinion than the version for dry skin. I just make sure that I'm moisturized and let it sink in... and then use plenty of the NYX HydraTouch Primer before applying thin layers of the ColorStay. I also really like the Almay TLC foundation (and if you're looking for a "splurge" the Estée Lauder DoubleWear is my go-to for those long days!) Agin, my apologies for the slow reply! ❤️❤️❤️

I tried this today at Sephora and loved it! “Slippery” is the right word for it. Makes me wonder if they mixed in some primer liquid aka “rain-X For the face.” It did look nice, and almost looked like it had a powdery finish! I also have a hard timet getting a foundation match for my skin and the ice vanilla looked great!

I've watched you try out a lot of foundations but, I don't think even the best ones had such a smooth coverage over your textured skin as this one. It just blurred. I'm tempted to pick up one but I'm waiting right now when I'm over the financial sting from Christmas. LOL!
