Glad you are sorting out your Hoyas and your life. Choosing joy is always the way to go. I like your format, talking and keeping your hands busy. Life is good!

Yay! Another Betsy video! Very happy to see you’re back
I enjoy your energy that is was attracted me to your channel. You bring so much joy to a lot of us. You are genuine so many of us hide behind who we think we should be or act and you bring yourself and your bubbly personality and that is rare now a days where we are scrutinized for who we are. Dont allow negative people change that if they don’t like your energy they can go somewhere else no one is forcing them to watch you. Because there are those of us that patiently wait for you to release new content and get excited when you do because we know it is going to be fun. We love you!!! 😊

Day trips are so fun! I loved when my parents told me we were going bye bye car. 😂
So glad you’re back!!! Loving that “Pink Alex” ❤❤❤ I am definitely going to put that one on my wish list. Three things I’m grateful for: my 12 year old dog is now being treated for a condition…we noticed a difference with her and started getting worried. After a visit to the vet and bloodwork, she got diagnosed and is being treated now and is adjusting plus doing better. I’m grateful we got to see my granddaughter graduate high school (she lives in a different state) and now my twins are done with college, my daughter will be graduating in August with her Masters. Life still throws us curveballs but you try to adapt and adjust accordingly. I’m glad your kitty is doing better. It’s hard to see our pet babies go through illnesses.

I'm late to the conversation; I watched it when it first came out but didn't have time to write a comment, and I wanted to come back and listen to it again. Love this video, and your voice is so relaxing. Good for you for choosing the right path for yourself, and letting go the plant shop (I couldn't order anyway because I'm in Canada, alas). My four kitties and I join in sending healing purrs and thoughts to your kitty who is feeling poorly. And yes to gazpacho--coming soon at chez moi, too.
Feeling excited about my poppies flowering, new growth on my houseplants, and my crochet projects. Enjoying this chill vibe, glad to see you back but you make the content you're comfortable with. Used to be arachnophobic but have overcome it through learning about them, helps to have a friend with tarantulas 😂 had 2 weeks of summer in the uk... hoping it returns instead of this gloom

So happy you are doing what makes you feel more at peace with your life ❤ Currently my new Hoya collection is bringing me joy as I discover how they grow and need. The explosion of growth on my orchid collection. And although some would not find this a happy time … but spending the last few months of my old girl’s life and giving her whatever she wants until she crosses the rainbow 🌈. She has had a long (14 yrs) and full life with lots of hikes and travel. But now is her time to just relax ❤. Love your videos regardless of the format ❤🌸 33:46 what is that one??

I live in Central Ohio. A few years ago, I was out in my yard with my two dogs and heard the cicadas making their racket. I didn't think much of it till one flew directly at me and hit me in the neck. I screamed so loud that I wouldn't be surprised if you heard me in France. I'm sure my neighbors were thrilled. haha. Regarding closing the shop and downsizing, do what makes you happy. I had an African violet hobby spiral out of control several years ago. Instead of bringing me joy, it just brought me stress. Instead of loving my plants, I resented them. It's not worth it. As I've gotten back into the houseplant hobby in the last two years, I've tried to keep that lesson in mind and keep my collection manageable. It's your life. Don't let the plants (or the people with planty opinions) run it. You'll be surprised by how little guilt and how much relief you'll feel.

I've been trying to solve the mystery of the scream heard from the west for 3 years. THANK YOU. It seems like everyone who gets an American Violet develops an African Violet hobby that gets out of control. 😂

@@betsybegonia I started off just trying to find one that had pink flowers with lavender fantasy. I had one years before, but crown rotted it and wanted to replace it. Next thing you know, I had 300. Leaf propagation did me no favors. You get several babies from one leaf. It was like adding water to a gremlin.
My cat was having digestive issues and the vet put her on a probiotic for pets. It made a HUGE difference!
I decided this year I was going to coexist with house spiders, even though they give me the heebie jeebies, because they eat the plants pests. Like occasional fungus gnats that pop up here and there. I haven’t had to deal with too many plant pest thankfully. Well these damn spiders! I would go to the kitchen to get something to drink late night and a spider would be dropping down from the ceiling just hanging there. Scared the crap out of me! Felt like little miss muffet lol
So good to hear from you again.
I loved this video format! Reminds me the style that My petit garden has. So relaxing ❤

Oh forgot, 3 things. Cuddling my sweet Bichon Oscar waiting for pain meds to kick in so day can start, watching my Nepenthes sanguinea make huge pitchers ( my first Nepenthes, love them, and Drosera also), and discovering a fantastic gluten free yellow cake mix from Aldi and inventing all kinds of cakes with it, yum! 🐕🌱🍰. I’ve always felt everyone needs to feel passionate about at least one thing…
I'm at a moment in my life where the struggles are big and the joys are small but frequent, some times they can go unrecognized. thank you for extending this question. Here we go! 1: my 9 yr old son has with in the last 4 months started to seek out hugs from me and that feels amazing. for a long time when I went to hug him good bye for the day he would just offer me his back and I would hug him from behind... so now when he looks for those hugs I SAVOR them. 2: The weather in my corner of this earth has been like an extend spring. I have my own garden maintenance business and to have the weather not be oppressive is just 💚🤌. 3: I just found out one of my favorite KZreadrs is going to be posting more videos soon. only since 2022 have I really been into watching videos on KZread and this is the first person I subscribed to, I really just loved her personality, her bubbly sillyness, her infectious energy🥰. She stopped putting out video regularly, I'm assuming because of her mental health, of which I can completely understand. but recently she started posting videos semi regularly and I'm just giddy to hear her voice again 😊 thanks again Betsy for checking in with us.

Oh hi Betsy, I have been following your channel for awhile and really love all of the Hoya you have and love when you repot them up and they are so amazing with the great looking roots they have and that is probably why they are doing so great and are so so beautiful. I remember when you got your nose treated, your face is looking even more beautiful. I love cats, I have two a male and a female. I just retired last month and I really like that I also really like finding plants I love and then repotting them, Hoya are one of my favorite plants and I have lost some because they got mealy bugs. Thanks so much for this great video, I wish you a beautiful and blessed day, sending love and hugs, bye!! 🥰😊💝💕💜💜💜

Enjoyed this video! So what's the name of the pale leafed one you potted two together @4.01? I love it! Personally, I love planty jobs and just my own thoughts.
