Day 2 visiting Sumba Island, Indonesia was all about chasing waterfalls. We had the best time exploring these breathtaking waterfalls on Sumba.

Waikacura Waterfall was like something straight out of a fairytale. Seeing a waterfall in the middle of a rice field was an incredible sight. Then Lokomboro Waterfall was equally as amazing. This is a beautiful waterfall in Indonesia where the water is the most amazing shade of bright blue. There are a few tiers to this waterfall and we made sure to explore them all.
Come and explore Sumba Island in Indonesia with us. This island is less explored than other parts of Indonesia, but that means there are epic hidden gems just waiting to be uncovered. We had all of these places completely to ourselves, and had the most incredible time. If you're travelling to Indonesia then Sumba is definitely worth visiting.

other parts of Indonesia have more expensive living costs and more difficult economic access, so please understand that the cost of visiting places on other islands is also more expensive

Yes it looked like that 😮 we couldn’t believe no one was there!
We don't wear just bikini in public (except touristy place like Bali) as it is impolite and improper and I don't want to be rude, but the impression can be kinda sl**ty. If you don't want unwanted attention, please, keep shorts that fully cover your bottom and tshirt/tank for impromptu swimming session. again, I don't mean to be rude, but foreigners who don't respect local culture are just annoying. Most Indonesian are just too kind to speak right in front of your face, but that doesn't mean we don't talk about it behind your back. Trust me, you don't wanna know what we compare naked foreigners in public with. Anyhow, enjoy your trip but be mindful and respectful of the local culture.

Thanks for your comment. The only time I wore just a bikini was when I was getting in/in the water when also no one else was really there. I always ensured I was covered up in other places where it was more public and more people were around so we are definitely aware of being respectful. I didn’t receive any unwanted attention as there wasn’t anyone else at the waterfalls while we were swimming. Appreciate your feedback and we’re always striving to be respectful of local customs, we enjoyed our time in Sumba so much and met lots of amazing people there 😊

Yes, I totally agree with your opinion. Respect local culture. Don't dress too vulgarly. Because it is very impolite and contrary to local culture. Hopefully foreign tourists will understand
