What a lovely and vivacious person she is! Her face lights up the room - her smile is infectious! Knowing we need to love ourselves is the key. Learning how to do it is the journey. If we can remember to be as kind, gentle, accepting and loving to ourselves as we would be to anyone else, we begin to see we are indeed “all one” and it becomes easier to love, to accept, to forgive and to fully live this life we are given. I want to be this woman’s best friend. Sometimes it seems like the most positive people, the ones that illuminate the world, are the ones that hold so much inside and out themselves. I feel that way at times but what a reward to be able to cast light into this world by being a beautiful soul. It’s so true that we are bombarded with bad news and we forget what a beautiful life we have and what a beautiful world we live in with amazing wonderful people. It’s a good thing to keep your glass full. I love this channel. I’m sitting here on a rainy gray Saturday eating homemade gnocchi soup watching your channel with tears in my eyes. When this person was asked about why they had more difficult time being kind with themselves... what a beautiful moment when the emotion welled up in them... Chasing the sun, or running away from it. Shadow and light. If you've never experienced loss ? Her words hit me hard....Can I say, if you lose a dearly beloved person, a parent, a child, you are usually left with unbearable guilt. Whether it is rational...Thank you, this brave lady, exactly, its not about you ! It happens. It's how you deal with it. Loving myself broke me apart but there it is, coming from an utterly shattered early life. I take my amateur pottery seriously. Each imperfect piece will find its way to somebody after I'm gone.

What a sincere and vulnerable message, thank you for sharing:) I feel so much softness and radiance when I look at her. How nice that she feels less and less fear and really wants to cooperate with her shadow, aho! I've always had inexplicable fears, woke up with it in the morning and went to bed with it. Never felt relaxed and unable to function because of my passivity. Now, after an intensive therapy five years ago and the discovery of the powerful spirit of Ayahuasca in the beginning of this year, I have really landed in my body. I’m no longer afraid of the intensity of my emotions and can let them flow free through my body. I feel the desires of my playful inner child again and it’s so freaking good, haha. I think this inner journey is so special and it’s wonderful to see this journey of discovery in her and many others. We are together in this. Thanks GR for making true connections via this videos. The dynamic of light and shadow - as a photographer we need both to create an image. Depth comes from the shadows. There is beauty to be found even in the shadows. I also have to say that learning to love the self that is us, is one of the hardest loves to come to . . . . . . Learning to love our alone self is the hardest.

OMG, addicted to this channel, love them all but l am totally in love with this woman , l could be her twin. Her story is my story. Have had so much loss & heartache. Been told lm one of the kindest people ever, but at 60, still so hard to be kind to myself. Thank you for yet another inspiring story & God bless this incredible, beautiful woman as well as you & your team . I am in awe & of course still crying. 🙏❤❤

Dear Justin and Claudia....what a beautiful, thought provoking video. Loved it and always love the beautiful music in the background. It felt like it was me telling about myself. Something that I could relate to almost everything...the shadows of the past, the grief and the losses, the self doubt, trying to be kind to others but to myself. Then hating the news but knowing that that's not the only side to life and the world. Finally knowing the truth about being able to experience something truly only because its opposite exists. Loved the laughter.

What this beautiful person shows us is a reflection of what many people live from adolescence. These are insecurities, dark shadows, fears, fitting in, sexuality, a whole. And it's just a matter of taking the direction where we feel best at each fork in the road. The rest is a matter of time.

I can related to a lot of things you said and see myself. I would think you are an empath. It’s easier for me to my gifts to be use for others, seeing very clearly their path but for myself and the ones very close not that clearly. I actually like that… don’t want to play God. 😊 I liked your brother’s quote. Very true l! I Learned that when you care so much about others, you also forget about yourself and also behind there is a need to be accepted. I learned to balance and set limits for myself. As an empath I had to learn. Let’s enjoy the sun that gives life to everything. Let’s be light! 🧡🙏🏼✨

As always, beautifully done. I love her words, the both sides of the coin approach to experiencing life, without one, how do you recognize the other. My father used to say something very similar about happiness.

Thank you Marchelle and also our intrepid film makers Justine and Michael. I had a bit of a 'that is an interesting question' moment when you asked why Marchelle was not always kind to herself. I am learning to be my own 'BFF' it is taking a little while is all 🙂 The Yin and the Yang of life. Balance between dark and light in ourselves and nature.

Being balance is not easy...accept and reflect the highs and lows in once life...but the most important thing is that one grow spiritual, mentally and emotionally. We all have light and shadows within ourselves - learn to love both - because without the other you will not be you.

What helps me is to go outside every single day for a walk. Hang in there. LOTS of people feel the same way. So look…you DO fit in somewhere!
