I love the fact that Sophia was supporting the guys at the finish after just having run the race herself. That shows character.

Elhousine is nothing short of a champion. well rounded athlete. Shout out to Philemon too, who lead the race and pushed the pace like no other.

One big difference between this year's Chasing Dreams and last year's was this year you focused on only a few athletes and last year we got to meet so many more athletes. While I enjoyed the season I really missed the episodes where you introduced us to some of the lower ranked elites. Maybe it was the lack of race recaps that decided this format this year (and honestly, I really missed those too as it's not always possible to watch an entire livestream) but please consider this year a) doing race recaps for all the races, not just a few and b) allowing for some lesser known athletes (and not just the ones who win who weren't expected to) to be featured in Chasing Dreams. Other than that, really well shot, great BTS and looking forward to the series in 2024!

It's pretty clear that there was a narrative around this group of athletes (though Malen's story didn't fit in, and I think it would have made more sense to highlight Madalena seeing as she was the better competitor as far as placing goes), so bringing other characters into the story wouldn't have made any sense.

I completely agree, the lack of race recaps was a real shame and I also enjoy a wider scope of individuals. I definitely still enjoyed this series though so the above would be "in addition to"

I disagree. In everything consistency is key for sucess, maybe especially in this sport. Thats why you see so many of rhe type of runners your problebly thinking of, comming in to the scenen for a few races, sometimes even a season, but they dont last. I think they have exatcley the people that should be there, are in this calm it documentary. I'm talking about the once that season after season sustain results at the top. And not like the "one-hit-wonders", than seems to have borrowed energi from the comming to seasons, and now they have crashed and burned, again! I think lost athlets go true that period, and Remi used to as well for exemplet, but he stay objektiv, like the minds of what true champion usually do, and came back stronger then ever by doing what needed to be done to grow. And thats why he standard alone at the top this season.

@@joakimpettersson7646 Totally get what you're saying, but if you look at series like "drive to survive". It's extremely successful but only spends probably 10-20% of the time actually looking at the top athletes. The rest is spent focusing on those striving to reach the top. There much more drama and excitement in the lower levels at a lot of these races vs just watching Remi (amazingly) run away from everyone for the 10th time in the season.

I really wish that the series would reward overall season performance more, having so many points awarded at the end does not crown the overall best runners. Also please go back to 40+km races and make them more technical and difficult.

I watched this race live and I have to admit that the pace was crazy from start to finish, the broadcast was very good and watching brought me a lot of emotions. I can't wait for the next season to follow the races live. I'm very excited that GTWS will come to Poland for the Tatra Sky Marathon, I will try to be there and see the best live. Thank you for this series Salomon, good job.

I truly love this show. My only suggestion is that you could change the characters. I understand you have to feature the favorites, but for example, in the finals where Madalina won, you could have featured her more

Seems likely that if Elhousine hadn't been prevented from running in the American races due to visa issues, he'd've had a strong strong chance of taking the overall title. Wouldn't GTS be amazing if we could see athletes who aren't from Europe/North America competing on truly even footing, rather than also being forced to compete with their rivals' myriad structural privileges & inequalities...
