You covered a lot of ground in Quebec and got some great shots. Another time around (east of) Montreal there is a nice high bridge in Eastman worth a shot. Around Sherbrooke I shot the ols Orford Express train which is stored in Magog, M420 and all. Hope you had a great time in Canada; food in Quebec City is awesome !

Sdly the Orford Express is all shut down. CMQ was fine with the operation, and despite promises by CP to accommodate them, they were forced out. CMQ provided crews for a reasonable rate, however CP drove the rates through the roof. That combined with the pandemic shut down the operation permanently. There was talk of moving operations to the nearby SLQ, however that fell through as well.

@@Steve-xf4uv Conway Scenic ended up with the dome. The rest of the equipment is so insanely expensive that its driven away buyers. Which it is in flawless condition, but they will have a hard time finding someone to buy it.

Ô my Lord, you have unfortunately mistaken the information of the train that we see at 3:01. The CN L51621 does not go to the city of La Tuque but to the La Tuque Subdivision ;) Otherwise great video!

Wow Harrison, how'd you manage to ski through those trees without getting a face-full? I never could manage that! In fact I gave up skiing because I got tired of crashing into trees! Ow. Anyway, that's one LONG railroad bridge! It reminds me of "World Famous" Moodna Viaduct on the old Erie. I don't know if Moodna's longer or shorter but both bridges are super-impressive. Soe great catches this trip, and as usual thanks for bringing us along!

Indeed the bridge is inspiring. The bridge at Lethbridge, Alberta is comparable, as are bridges in the US. The UP (nee, SP) "High Bridge" over the Pecos River near Del Rio, TX and the UP bridge in Washington State over the Snake River (perhaps the Palouse River) are other impressive long bridges.

There's a really long and high railway trestle bridge in Grand Falls, New Brunswick too. It's on the CNR mainline in the Maritimes and sees several trains per day in each direction. You should check it out!

It looks like the passenger rail service in Canada is way nicer than in the US. Just comparing Canadian passenger trains to Amtrak trains is quite a difference. Seems like Canadian railroads take a lot more pride in their passenger rail service and trains.

Cool video ! But you missed an interesting feature, along the river, west of the 'funiculaire' (vertical rail) on the Champlain blvd under the Cote Gilmour, there is an abandonned tunnel(on gogglemaps we see a stone 'canadian pacific', it was the entrance)) going to the other side, near Marie-de-l'incarnation street. And other rails this side but not a lot of trains there... for your next trip!
