It all comes down to this need to record, it goes way back to the times of early photography, people woudnt really be experiencing what they saw because they head was hidden behind a lens, its a strange form of detachment. The need for proof of experience.

Can't wait for the album. No other genre can make a crowd lose their shit like jungle. I remember seeing Shy FX at a festival in Bristol a few years ago. Beautiful summers day, sun setting, and at the end of the set he dropped Original Nuttah. So many marbles were lost.

This set takes me back to 98-99. It felt like the future and the vibe was incredible. It was so underground back then. The crowd was made up heads that had to hunt for this kind of music. We drove 3.5hrs to buy records and mixtapes (mostly cassettes). Such a fun time.

Chase & Status you blow my mind every single time guys.. seen yas live more times than I can count but ....THANK YOU to the MC .... what an absolute talent ! This is my go to set.... heaven is a C&S set !

All the people saying this is Drum and Bass not Jungle, honestly.......why worry. Who cares if this is Drum and Bass dressed up as Jungle! Jungle and Drum and Bass trump all styles anyway right! And the fact you recognise this difference makes you avid fans and listeners no? Its also called return to jungle, so to me that suggests a transition back to Jungle and old skool Drum and Bass. But whats lifting/exciting here is that sadly there has been a bit of a void in Drum and Bass/Jungle for a while...It got soft or just to dark. But this set is one of the best, jump up , put a smile on your face sets i have heard in a long time, along side others from Bryan Gee, Jumping Jack frost etc. All helping bring it back to its roots but with a modern twist. Sweet ass set :-) and keeping the scene alive. Those first 10 mins though, Mental :-), reminds me of Lakota Bristol, late 90s.

Check out Randall's jungle set in the Lab, that is amazing. Strict definitions by bigger fans than myself might matter, but to me this set is largely jungle and junglish d'n'b. I'm not really in to the whole pigeon holing thing, though I respect other people might have certain expectations. It's a nice set.

This set is quite similar to their essential mix they did at around the same time - their London Eye one, great set and the mc on that one is much more chill 👌🏻
