I'm guessing the Jaguar was in the packaging the wrong way round to make the hole in the diecast less obvious. I know there is a window in the back of the box also, but suggests they were aware of the hole when they packaged it, which is disappointing, are you sure it isn't a Greenlight?🤣

LOL I expect future Greenlight QC to actually improve under new ownership, but let's wait and see 😉It's happened to me before that I got tricked like that, usually the side that got UV damaged that was turned to the back of the window box so it was less obvious. You'd think I'd have smartened up by now but alas.

I think those all of those car transporters at 48:15 had mismatched wheels between truck and trailer... I have seen many of those in different colours and what i remember all have had that kind of wheel combo. 🤔 So i think that's correct trailer to that truck... 👍

That truck at 57:00 is GMC Brigadier /Chevrolet Bruin, but for some reason i haven't seen that written, but that's what those trucks clearly are, maybe not licensing... 😄

Well that's interesting, I had to look that up and Bruin (from Dutch for "brown") is an English folk term for brown bear, especially in children's fables. It seems especially with trucks diecast manufacturers often didn't bother getting the licensing for them.

Matchbox hasn't done opening parts for so many years but they must've thought it was like riding a bike, you never forget how to do it... Turns out opening parts are not that easy to do.

Land Rover in USA renamed some of their models in the 2000's 2nd gen Freelander was LR2 and Discovery 3 & 4 were LR3 and 4 later-on I'm guessing that they did that to fool the customer who heard about the reliability issue of previous models of course it didn't worked and they came back later with the correct name .

@@ChasingDiecastCars marketing exec are making questionable decision sometimes especially GM who is an absolute specialist of rebadging disaster , the other day I was watching an interview of Bob Lutz (he is a big name in US auto industry ) about when he was vice chairman of GM during the 2008-9 recession when GM was near bankruptcy which lead them to discontinue Pontiac , Saturn , Hummer and selling SAAB and when he was talking about Saab specifically he said "they were weird car for slightly weird people we tried everything but nothing worked " . And I was thinking something like : If everything you could do was putting a Saab front end on a Chevrolet Trailblazer ( which is a run of the mill midsize SUV of the day ) and expecting great results that wasn't gonna work 🙄 I'll send you the video interview in question

I know who Bob Lutz is 🙄 I know many people who had or still have a Saab and none of them strike me as weird. Although after 20+ years in the automotive industry I've learned that weird people often drive a car make of which the name starts with an 'S' 😆

I've worked for Seat and Smart so I can confirm those. One of the richest guys in the country has a car with a chauffeur of course. The car he chose to be driven around in at one time was a Skoda Superb... weird. Nowadays it's a Tesla Model X. The former CEO of Subaru Belgium drove a Subaru as his company car obviously but his personal family car wasn't a Subie, so that's kinda weird imo. Only know one guy who has a Ssangyong and he's an absolute weirdo.

How do you get all these cars ?
