Charon | Best Scenes from the John Wick Movies
Ойын-сауық
READ: There is a delay with the audio in this video, so please put that into consideration. I didn’t have the storage to export at 4K 60FPS
Got this idea by the guy who posted Winston scenes (Movie Scenes). It took hours to get scenes and then put them in order and of course, the export process took even longer. I only had the storage to export at 1080p 30fps and not 4k 60fps. Sorry if the quality is bad and I’ll be making more of these for other characters like John of course, Cassian, Zero, etc.Let me know if I missed any!
Fair Use enjoy! :) (which is why I cut up a lot of the scenes because when I just had whole scenes, my video would get blocked so I had to reupload this many times.
Who is Charon?: Charon is the concierge at the Continental Hotel's New York City establishment and deuteragonist, employed by Winston. A recurring character in the John Wick movie series, Charon is often seen interacting with the eponymous protagonist in his position as the concierge of the hotel, offering John various services.
What’s John Wick?: John Wick is an American neo-noir action thriller media franchise created by screenwriter Derek Kolstad and owned by Lionsgate. Keanu Reeves plays John Wick, a retired hitman who becomes active again in his quest for vengeance

Well in the prequel comic, it shows why he’s supportive of John. After a personal mission, John sees Charon in a room opposite to his, and assassins burst into Charon’s room and held him at gunpoint. It was always a pleasure having you Mr Lance Reddick. RIP🙏
I think Charon is a man of many talents. In order to enforce the Continentals rules and be respected by all the assassins he would have to be well rounded in hotel management, protocol, manners, firearms, tremendous character ( loyalty, determination, fortitude, focus, courage) he has to face down all those dangerous killers and maintain order. This video made me appreciate him a lot more. He is not just a small time character in this movie. Winston couldn’t do it without him.
Rest in Peace Lance, thank you for making Charon memorable with your performance.
You notice how he always initiate the greeting or conversation when it’s John wick. Anyone else, he waits

I love that almost no one commented on the fact Wicke touched the stairs of the hotel. That literally saved his life because the hotel is a safe haven and if he didn’t touch the stairs he’s technically not on the property. He knew Charon would protect him if he just reached it

You have given us spectacular acting. Thank you for everything and Rest In Peace, Mr. Reddick
Rest in peace, Sir. You're a huge part of a never-ending enjoyable viewing experience in John Wick...
I knew from the first appearance of Charon in J.W.1, that he was a character who was much more than he appeared. Quiet, courteous and professional, it was a great to see him quite obviously pissed during the battle for the N.Y Continental. Would be interesting to know his back-story in a novelisation of the John Wick universe.

Yea you could tell there was more than meets the eye with him
I just noticed at 2:38 that Charon did not greet D'antonio when he walked to the concierge desk. I always got the impression that Charon made it a point of greeting someone as they approached him. That is probably the closest his character can come to saying "f*uck you" to a guest.

As someone who's being a polite gentlemen in customer service, neglecting to greet someone, a proper way to say F*** you
That would be all, Charon. You've done your best, and we will miss you.❤
RIP. His character was so cool and mysterious. Great actor and he will be greatly missed, especially in the franchise.
I got so worried during Parabellum, I thought for sure he was going to die protecting the Continental. Glad he made it and will come back.

Calm, polite, nothing phases him, takes no shit from anyone and as seen in Chapter 3 a complete badass who can hold his own.
I don't always watch JW but when I do I always try to emulate Charon. What a wonderful character and friend to have when you stay at The Continental Hotel 🏨🛏️. His professional style leaves other hotels in shame as they lack his regal posture. We will miss him but we won't forget him. Heroes get remembered but legends don't die.❤
I love how every scene where he's talking to John has him call John "Mr Wick." Shows that they're good friends
The way John looked at Charon when he walked in taking his jacket off😂😂😂

One of my favorite characters, series won't be the same without him 😪 rip mr Reddick 😪😪
He is a major character. It should never be replaced. His subtleties are amazing.
Dude, when they start raiding the continental and Charon only seem mildly annoyed, taking off his jacket and things like that, badass

Mildly annoyed like he's thinking all the Dinner Reservations he had to book after, and making sure those Dinner Reservations don't interrupt the other guests in the rooms with the noise levels🤣
Rest easy Mr. Reddick, thanks for sharing your talents with us, you will be missed.
To our gallant and most professional concierge of the Continental Hotel, may you rest in peace! We appreciate you’re professional service.
One of the many brilliant performances from this man that spans films, TV and video games. RIP to an absolute legend.

That's my favorite scene, his guys get killed, doesn't say a word, just walks in, grabs a shotgun, and a bunch of armor piercing rounds then walks out firing.

It was actually scary. Saw his men get slaughtered. Didn't say a word, walked in and took the best and deadliest weapon available, without even breaking his stride. But his face, even with a perfect mask like quality, says a tonne. Like, " you killed my men, I'm gonna break you all so bad that you'd beg me to kill you when I'm done with you lot". We really need a backstory of this character.
