It’s not quite right. It’s Andalusian architecture that has been heavily influenced by ‘Morish’ architecture. This because the south of Spain was occupied by the Arabs for almost 700 years. They brought Spain a lot of new inventions, for instance in architectural and aquacultural developments and Algebra etc. So no wonder it looks a lot like the architecture you’ll find in Nothern Afrika, especially Marocco.

@@rebecafernandez1394 we love u too❤️ originally, Andalusia was made to be a copy of the Umayyad Damascus ,, Damascus and Levant style in general which was later on depicted in morocco and Andalus as they were part of the Umayyad Empire,, this includes the style of the houses, islamic architecture music, food and so on 💕 the Islamic architecture and the arabian style of houses came out from Levant mainly Syria because of the influence of earlier civilizations,, and since Damascus was the capital and the most advanced city at that time, the rest of the cities were following its architecture. When Abdelrahman I moved to Andalusia, he built it as a copy of his City Damascus bringing the builders from Levant, as well as the oils, date trees, and many other things. This is why in the old towns of Lebanon and Syria you would find such designs. Morocco and North Africa in general was able to make use of the advancements in Andalusia because they were its neighbors and because of the Andalusians who were forced to leave during the conquest at the final stages of the Arab Andalusia. Modern Lebanon has the influence of many other civilizations, and this is why there are alot of mixes today 💕💕
