Love the video and questions you asked. The Seer was scary because she didnt need to throw fireballs to get what she wanted. She played the game well. The Source grew arrogant after he'd taken out Prue. He wanted somone who would feed his ego and not someone like the Seer who would tell him the truth. We see him struggling with this in Charmed & Dangerous, which is what led to his death. The Seer didn't take Phoebe under her wing to train her how to use her powrrs because she was planning to kill Pheobe. Why teach Pheobe how to master her power, giving her the power to see the Seers' future plan? In fact, i believe the Seer mentioned making herself immune to Phoebe's powers. I think the Seer only came up with her plan once she decided to bring Cole into the fold. She knew the Source would end it all. Once she released the Hollow into Cole, she had another vision and thats when she saw he would get Pheobe pregnant and she divised her plan: the demon who carried the child of the Source and a Charmed One. Back 20 years ago, there were rumors floating around on message boards that Wyatt's storyline was originally meant for Cole and Pheobe's baby: a twice blessed powerful child spawned by good and evil, and feared by all. The network was heavily against Alyssa playing a mother, but it was too late to change the direction of the storyline. The EP was able to convince the network to do the storyline by shifting it to Holly, who was less favored by the network. I'm inclined to believe it after hearing the actresses tell BTS stories over the years about the network being highly upset about introducing babies into the show. It would also make sense as to why season 4 ended the way it did. They had to quickly change the ending, killing out the Seer and Phoebe's baby at the same time. It would also make sense why the writers didnt really know what to do with Cole for season 5. Fun fact: the background picture is photo of the Seer that is used to illustrate her page in the Book of Shadows.

Okay now I need to get Coops ring, take you back in time to when Charmed was written and insert you into the writer‘s room because with your logical thinking/compelling suggestions charmed could have been at Buffy-Level😭

The baby storyline reminds me of Surrogacy but done against Pheobe’s will

Yes this Seer did say that the baby was never Phoebe's baby and was never Cole's so The Seer she was the one who created that baby so could have been something that she created all this time so she could also still the throne from the source of all evil

But I am sure that The Seer she was a slave to the demons because she has to serve the source of old evil in every purpose so she wants to be free just like the other seer Kyra she wanted to be free because the Oracle she was also a slave to the source so in my theory demons had slaves that serve them in the the underworld the meaning is that this year she was living in hell in the Underworld so I think she needs a storyline

I like to theorize that everything went according to the Seers plan, but she lost because of the one thing she could never understand: love. When she took Phoebes child into herself, she thought her master plan was successful. But then the baby rejects her, because the baby had been conditioned by a mothers love. It was the baby that vanquished her, as the source, the charmed ones was simply chanting a protection spell. The baby chose good because of Phoebes love

I humbly disagree. The baby was already evil because that tonic that Phoebe drank was made out of the Seer's blood. The baby's powers were too overwhelming for her. It was already overwhelming for Phoebe, so it was ten times worse with her. The Charmed ones cast the power of three spell that deflected the powers from the baby, thus vanquishing the entire room. (I am not fighting)

But I will say justice for Kyra she did everything to be free to live a normal life but now zankou the demon killed her off it wasn't fair and it was very sad because she had a lot of potential to be Phoebe's best friend 0:41

Forget a best friend. The on screen chemistry between Kyra and Phoebe was more genuine and realistic than any of the men Phoebe chased the entire series.

@@yusukeGum Well I wouldn't say they didn't react to it. It was her murder that really pushed them finally into wanting to talk to to the Avatars. They seemed exasperated more than anything about her death since she just wanted to be human. We should have had more episodes with her and the sisters working together. Seems like we witnessed her being choked and abused by Leo in other episodes more than anything.

Maybe the Seer only became known to the old source very late, and he had already made use of the Oracle as his "trusted advisor" and knew her ways and knew her well. So the Seer was not sought out or trusted by the old source before Cole.

I truly get your points about the Seer she wasn't well treated since the entire TV show in Charmed in the series The Seer she does not have a name so I believe that she has history of serving demons but no one knows where she comes from because she might have a backstory somehow so this was her plan all along to convince Cole to get back to be the demon AKA Balthazar I definitely agree with you agree with Ya definitely agree with Ya The Seer she should have been a mentor for Phoebe because the Seer she has more experience with visions so she could have helped Phoebe with her powers but what is weird she said that the baby was never Phoebe's and Cole so I find that very weird that she said that the baby was hers so who was the father of the Seer baby because it's like that she wanted to be the queen of the Underworld so probably she wanted to take over so she could rule the demon world but her back story was Not told so I think she was a slave to the underworld because she served demons just like the oracle they were slaves to their demons look at Kyra she wants to be free from the underworld because she was a slave and I also feel bad for her Kyra she would have been Phoebe's mentor and her best friend so may she rest in peace but justice for her because the actress that played Kyra she played the Cordelia in Buffy the vampire Slayer the mean girl who was the popular girl in high school in Sunnydale so she was the school bully in Buffy the vampire Slayer 0:41 It was odd The Seer how did she transmit her baby into Phoebe did she use some transportation Magic that did not make sense and how come Phoebe can keep her baby I just feel like in Charmed they did not really try to explain how evil Vs good get to be and its balance because Phoebe she relates to P Russell she was also evil in the past life so she was following the same direction as her great-grandmother her great auntie Phoebe she's not the first to be pregnant by a demon because Piper was in relationship with a warlock but she didn't know at the time because she was not a witch so she had a baby with a warlock but kind of like a demon but Warlock there are more like evil witches in my theory Piper aborted the baby she had an abortion it's a theory that I am doubting Piper was traumatize because Phoebe she had a premonition that someone gave birth to a warlock so I feel like when something's evil they had to scrapped to avoid that Phoebe has a baby by a demon 0:41 So what is evil what is good because in Charmed I feel like the directors and the writers they did not give an explanation if good is not always good if evil is not always evil 0:41

Oh my gosh around the 11:00 mark. That is a brilliant suggestion for the S5 block that Phoebe had. And it's even more powerful when you think of how in the episode, removing the block allowed her actual vision powers to evolve to the highest point we ever saw in the series ie she practically time traveled to the future. I trust you know but just in case, S4 felt rushed because they didn't think they would make it to S5. I heard vanquishing Source Cole would been extended to S5 finale or 100th episode if they knew they were coming back. But me personally i loved the fast pace of S4 rather than dragging things out. It's part of why S4 is my favorite.

Every interesting rewriting, I figured she like the Oracle where brought into counter Phoebe’s premonitions maybe from their potential dark Charmed ones. They hinted at triad with warlock brothers in season 2/3. I figure the Seer could’ve been potential for the Triad that takes over after the Source is taken out again. The demon world/hell seemed more power hungry than where the Elders dwell. Keeping Phoebe’s baby and raising him/her with the new Triad (Dark Charmed ones) the Seer and her sisters would give Cole more of redemption arc to shed his darkness. Seriously, The gents on that show were poorly developed.

Yeah, they definitely could've fleshed out some of the connections between evil. They were much more willing to collaborate than good was.

Did cole get taken over by the source or did he get the source powers.Because remember when he talked the seer after the source was killed.He said I’ll tell Pheobe.But the seer said the source won’t let him.I get confused because people always talk about him becoming the source.So I’m winding if there forgetting or if I’ve got it wrong.

It’s confusing because the writers couldn’t make it make sense. One episode Cole just took the powers of the source and that’s what made him evil. The next episode, the “source” isn’t just a title but also an entity that possesses someone slowly. It’s bad writing really, and convenient for whatever they wanted the plot to be in the episode.

I agree the writers weren't consistent (what's new? 😅) But narratively, the hollow takes powers not souls. So: - the old source was vanquished - Cole had a demon half that was just latent when his powers were bound episodes earlier - the old source's powers just went into that "void" - demons don't have souls so there's nothing of the old source to possess Cole. That's how I read it. If Cole was possessed by the source, his plans would have been stupid. But his plans were just as smart as Cole in S3 & S5. *Tldr:* Cole was the Source not possessed by the Source

Now why couldn’t they have made her redeem herself and become good?? Didn’t like the ending especially that disgusting ear scene, it’ll never get out of my head!

idk, I honestly don't think a redemption story would've been necessary for her. I would've just let her be a more successful evil entity.
