I think, it's not just nostalgia. Somewhere around 2004-2008 something got lost. I can't quite put my finger on it. But things back then were more »free«, more creative. People where trying things more often and without holding back. Of course a lot of bullshit was produced and forgotten, too. But a lot of things really stuck. And there was just a lot more going on, that kinda stuck forever. Tracks that are so awesome, they put goose bumps on your skin, even today, some 20 or 30 years later. Today when you go to the club you will sometimes hear tracks that are really pulling you in like that. Not just the »usual« rhythm and a base line. But the majority seems to be cloned from something else and the emotional part is simply missing. Something where you say »I need this track, it does something with me«, that's what's missing mostly. Tracks that feel really unique. Not that this is not existent any more. But simply a lot more rarely on the same level as from the 90ies. I think it's not a random occurrence, that 90s rave parties in the local club here still set people on fire. People that are younger than the majority of tracks played. That said: That's why we really _need_ more of that stuff again. And I give a thank you to every one, that actually answers these cravings. =)

So in Ordnung auch nicht aber sehr sehr unbeschwert... Bin mir sicher das mit der Generation die zu der Zeit geboren sind selbst unter den Vorraussetzungen wie damals nicht so feiern könntest wie wir es damals getan haben...war krase Zeit aber möchte keine min ändern wenn ich es könnte..

Der 28. Februar 1998 bis heute, ging alles immer weiter bergab, man kanns sich schön reden aber besser wirds nicht mehr, vor 100 Jahren waren es die goldenen 20er, jetzt sind es die aus Falschgold aber wenigstens gibs ja das Internet

@@thelarstone6711 Nicht nur Berlin. Generell merke ich Umfeld, dass sich so eine gewisse Müdigkeit wegen aktuellen Genres ergibt. Das merke ich vor allem im Bereich Hardcore, wo wieder mehr die alten Tracks, mit denen ich aufgewachsen bin, auftauchen. Freut mich sehr. :)

Die Zeit ist echt beste Feierzeit ever gewesen... Mir egal wo Ich auflegen gehe ..n paar Tracks aus der guten alten Zeit Spiel ich immer auch schonmal Remixe aber überwiegend Original...und die Leutz gehen immer noch auf dem Sound ab...das sagt doch alles...
