LOVED this video. I've been wanting to buy this product but wasn't sure how it would react to my holygrail glossier skin tint. I have dry sensitive skin and now I'm gonna run and buy this!!! Update: I bought it and I'm obsessed. Its now essential in my makeup routine and even on no makeup days when I want that healthy glow. If anyone is on the fence they should definitely try it.

Shade 2 works for me...I ordered directly from CT’s site... for me it’s best mixed with a moisturizer or foundation and then used over top on areas to highlight...thank you for this review.

It looks amazing on your flawless skin! I feel like it would be a nightmare on my super oily, large pore skin. 😕

I have super oily skin and I use it as a highlighter on my cheekbones, cupid's bow, and also on my undereyes before concealer (think YSL Touche Eclat). It gives a very subtle, natural, "young healthy skin" look and I adore it. But yeah, used all over it just looks sweaty to me.

I have watched several reviews with mixed opinions. Your's was the one that convinced me to buy it. Thank you for this honest and thorough review. Your face/skin looks amazing and flawless!

Bought it this afternoon from Harvey Nichols. Chose Medium 4. Brought it home. Glared at the bottle for a couple of hours. Gave in and applied a very small amount and worked in thoroughly. Fell in love with myself. I will never be seen without this stuff on my face again. Matter of fact, I am wearing it in bed as we speak, because I am curious to see a raw morning face with this stuff on. Will see how it goes and report back. I'll probably fall OUT of love on the fourth day. Well, that's what usually happens, to me anyway ... :)

@@N3dita Yes, still use it fairly frequently, love it, and will probably repurchase one day. It lasts ages! For most daily purposes I also use that 'photoready' stuff, mixed with moisturiser. That's almost colorless, very very pale white gold.

Except for the Glossier skin tint you went all Charlotte Tilbury and created a gorgeous flawless look😍 Very natural, but polished. Love it 💕

I'm loving this product as well. I purchased it at bergdorf's last Friday. If you feel like it looks "metallic", it might be that the shade is too light. That happened to me and I ended up getting a darker shade and even though it looked too dark, there is not really any coverage and blends into just a glow, no color and it looks much better. I have been using this everyday since I got it and I also feel like i actually do have a filter.

+Selene32986 That's an interesting point. From what I can tell, I have a similar skin tone to Michelle, and I ordered the 3, but I was wondering if I should have ordered the 2. On the Charlotte Tilbury website, they have the actress who was in Ex Machina modeling the 3 so I went for it. My skin tone resembles hers more than the model featured for the 2.

swatch stop yeah! The shades are kinda crazy. I got the 5 cause the 4 was extremely lighter and ashy... but they don't have much pigment. They blend out to no color so the 3 might be ok. If not, exchange cause it's a pricy item...

Hasanah No glitter at all. It's literally a glow! But a glow with a very dewy look. Some won't like it, some would apply to certain areas. I apply all over since I have dry skin. This is the only base I put on and actually see the glow peaking through my foundation. I have used it everyday ever since I purchased. Even on no makeup makeup days...

Selene32986 This Filter sounds just what my winter dry skin would need ;) Would you say it's hydrating too, or just dewy? And what shade you have/ what shade you are in Mac :)? I'm trying to find out, what shade would work on my light, Mac NC20 skin..

This is really really pretty once it settled down. The rest of your makeup looks so soft and lovely. I don't have it yet but looking at it reminds me of a punched up version of MAC's Next To Nothing Liquid which I use under or over foundation to add a little glow and softness. Looks interesting to play with. I may need to get it. Thank you for demoing this!

I am so pleased you ended up liking it because I have already ordered one and at the beginning when you found it a bit greasy it worried me because I am already shiny enough. Now I am excited to get it!!!

I am not a fan of frosty/dewy/glittery and the overused phrase 'lit from within' sounds like a lightbulb...but you look great with it on. I think if you knock the shine off of your nose, the area under the eye that is closest to your nose and between the eyebrows you would feel at ease with all the oomph this product has to offer. P.S. You are always a breath of fresh air to watch and listen to. Thanks for doing the work so I don't have to.

I love it!!! I have dry skin and aging so this will make my skin feel and look younger. Because you lose the glow when you start to age. I will be doing these products thank you for this awesome video 😊👏🏻💄

Loved how the veil looked over mk up on your bone structure as opposed to using as base or primer.

So far I'm really liking CT's Hollywood Flawless Filter. I have light to medium skin with yellow to neutral undertones so I went for shade 3. I love the glow that it gives without it being overly metallic, shimmery or glittery. I've somehow managed to avoid the highlighter craze because even though there are so many that are beautiful & tempting, most end up looking too glittery on me which is not what I'm going for. I want glow not glitter and the Hollywood Flawless Filter fits the bill. However, I'm still testing it out and am hoping I don't get any breakouts -- that would be heartbreaking. 😄

Honestly it looks beautiful. I need to see it on someone with bad skin though to see if it makes your flaws bigger. It looks beautiful.

Hi Michele, I didn't read through the comments below so someone else may have mentioned this - on Charlotte's KZread channel she is using this as a primer under foundation. She state's you can use it in the areas you usually highlight or all over the face. It looks beautiful on her model and you! XO Ginny

I REALLY like the Glossier tint I’ve yet to try anything by that brand but I love 💗 how the skin tint looks. I like the Charlotte Tilbury Foundation but I think I would definitely mix it in with a foundation!

I have huge pores and I use benefit's porefessional primer then the filter then either powder or foundation then powder. My pores vanish and I can pretend to have fab skin until the makeup has to be removed.

I'm with you Michele I love a dewy finish with my foundations I also have dry skin. Definitely would want to wear this under or over the foundation but not all over the face especially the nose. I love how it looks with the Glossier Skin Tint over it. Beautiful.

New follower & also a Plucky knitter fan. So I like using the Flawless Filter as a highlighter layer on the high points of my face before my foundation. I don’t like using it all over either since it’s definitely super glowy.

Looks great on you. I have this product but haven’t used it much because I didn’t really know how (bought it on a whim because of good reviews.) I’m going to try it under a tinted moisturizer like you did and cross my fingers for similar results!

Thank you for the P.F. tip, have you used the Physicians Formula bronzer? I have heard good things about it.

It looks amazing at the end of the video. I am a huge CT fan, might have to give this a try!

Thank you for your review! I was curious about this product and how it compared to the liquid highlighter she has. I do have oily skin and I thought that it wouldn't fit me. Also I noticed that when she used it on the model in her promo, it just emphasised her pores. I have large pores and a bit oily skin so I don't think it'd look good on me. But I will get some samples to try in my next order. It might be something for night wear but not during the day in the office (unless one wants to look re-live the teenage greasy skin years!). Your skin looks good and I can't see any pores so I think it suits you :)

I'm glad I got the samples before I opened the full size I purchased. Unfortunately, for me, it was like a spotlight on my pores and undereye wrinkles. I had to return it.

I'm loving this foundation on you, I've got to go back to Nordstrom and get matched again, because the shade they picked out for me was not my shade and I had to return it and that left a no in my mouth and I never went back.

Thanks for trying this one - I've been worried about the "shine". I think I like it better on the right side of your face with the heavier foundation. It's seem easier to apply than a powder with luminosity.

It's a nice product that gives your skin a glow but I would use it more sparingly and see how that works.
