It’s always wonderful to see performers who are having a good time enjoying their work and performing with a touch humour.

It lifts us up.This lifts us high above the mediocre and the lukewarm, where many choose to dwell.

She sure was wonderful as a young singer...as were all those fine musicians behind her. I must've listened to this 50 times and I'm in no way tired of it.

Charlotte will always be Charlotte regardless of the genre she is singing. 🤘

What is Charlotte Church doing now a days, she was the voice of an Angel back then, why don’t we hear more of her lovely voice?

Wow! I don't have the right words... Like Terry, below, tears started from your first note. You are incredibly charming, talented, gracious, and warm. Thank you for sharing such perfection with us.

This was from her concert “Voice of an Angel” in 1999 and it’s still beautiful over 20 years later.

I sang this song as my final exam in my drama class. The exam was actually for a convincing lip sync, but my teacher knew I could sing and told me if I didn't actually sing, she'd flunk me. I chose this song, received a standing ovation, and an A+. Thanks Charlotte for inspiring me!!

Why was Charlotte so good? She was Welsh, and they can all sing. And even today she is just so gorgeous, and open, and her smile just melts my heart. I suppose you could say I think she is rather smart.

SUPERB she was like 12 here. By the time she was 14 she ASTOUNDED us all!! Now New Years 2020 listening to you Charlotte still in awe 🤩

Her beautiful singing makes me want to go back to Church. May God Bless her.

Why do people berate an excellent performance. Charlotte has an excellent 👌 voice and has the talent to sing any type of music. Obviously the audience was thrilled, by the applause. They could care less about whatever happened in her past. Maria C. and others have had less than favorable incidents but personal issues belong only to that person and not to others to judge.

A voice one could listen to for hours. Beautiful & passionate.

Charlotte is not singing to an earthly audience. She looks as though she is singing to the band of angels, in heaven, that blessed her with such a lovely voice.

I have followed Charlotte for many years. Her voice is so beautiful. When she sings I get chills. I first saw her on the Oprah Winfrey show. She really has the voice of an Angel

It's like there are two different girls, first is a cheeky little imp with figures of her granddad and father, then comes this beautiful angelic voice. Absolutely fantastic.

When was this recorded? She was born in 1986 so if it was six years ago she would be 31. Hardly a child.

DA,. seriously. Like, when she played on TOUCHED by an ANGEL. She sang PANIS& had the most beautiful voice I, have EVER heard. If. Marian Anderson had the voice # that one comes around every hundred Yrs. then, CHAR. is not too far behind......

I remember these times, when Charlotte Church was a new young sensation. She was, to my knowledge, the first or near as not of the really young stars of the classical/crossover scene. She blazed a trail for many. No other had a voice quite like her, though. Hearing this again brings back a time in my own life. Charlotte- your voice is haunting. I didn't see this clip before, so I didn't know you also had such a cheeky sense of humour as a girl. I enjoyed that. Be well.

She has a beautiful voice... she and Sissel are my favorite female artists. She needs to pursue more classical routes in my humble opinion (such as this). Now Charlotte has a very distinctive English dialect while Sissel doesn't (even though Sissel is native Norwegian and sings in 15 languages). In fact if you listen to Sissel speaking she sounds American (even though she rarely visits here). These women are truly gifted.

I listened to her music as I toured New Zealand and her voice and the beauty of this country complimented each other beautifully

My Grandmother was named Charlotte, my moms mother. They were from London. I just watched a movie called “lll be there” and had to look Charlotte up. Such a beautiful and talented women. I’m just blown away. Greetings from Arizona

I think that Charlotte has gone though so many phases in her life, like the rest of us. I hope she does well, but selfishly, I hope she continues her more classical pursuits, as she does them like no other... except like an Angel!

A voice of an angel, she definitely needs to return to the platform that ennobled her and touch the hearts of millions around the world....but everyone eventually makes a full circle and returns home to the place they belong!

I cry with everything that is in my soul, when I hear you sing.

One thing I've discovered by shows like America's Got Talent/Britain's Got Talent is that a lot of people in this world can sing really well. Any of them could be pop stars with the right songs. But very very few can sing opera really really well. It is a talent that very few can master. I'm drawn to Charlotte Church because she is one of the masters. Not every opera voice sounds as clear and wonderful . . . good, but not wonderful.

Your voice has brought me to tears with its sheer beauty. This fills my soul with absolute joy. Thank you. From a Nana who too, sang this in her school convent choir about 45 years ago. The awe that this panis angelicus inspires never ceases to amaze me. I have had a long but rewarding career in medicine and after a stressful day, I would always come home to hear this piece. It soothes my soul.

This is so gorgeous! A million years ago I used to sing this in my church choir. Even as a young child I was definitely an alto, and I remember straining to hit those high notes!
