Josie! I cannot tell you just how much I enjoyed seeing Charlie in action. That dude was in his element and I am here for it! It is a delight to see someone actually beam with excitement and pride over their prized finds. Love how you all complement and balance one another.

I think you and Charlie need to do a deal. He doesn’t buy any more tables and you don’t buy any more jumper dresses 😆

Love that you and Charlie do all the prep : déco, mood setting (candles, etc.) drinks, cooking, etc. etc. You spoil your guest, you show that you care and that you are glad for them to come to your lovely home. Much more interesting than having a caterer come over and do everything for you. Congratulations on your lovely home and room.

Oh you had me laughing hard with the thought of the shock on someone's face when they see the person who was to come out with a fire poker now emerge with arms filled with chairs, tables and candles and that ear to ear grin people get from a bargain buy, as the person waiting for them tries to figure out how a fire poker could have turned into that 😂😂😂

Another Lovely Holiday Vlog! Thank you for sharing. I love Charlie’s interest in antiques. My husband and I have been married 35 years and one of the things I loved about him was that he enjoyed shopping. That he took an interest in our home decor. We each have our niche when it comes to designing/ decorating our homes so we’ve never had conflict. Just a nice balance. You and Charlie seem to balance each other well. It’s always nice to have a true partner in all facets of life, especially when you’re building a life together. 😊

I love how Charlie has to justify how much he spent on something, and Josie - the CFO - always has a dig 🤣 In all honesty, Charlie is very clever and a very visual designer. He is also 100% correct in terms of rugs size. Bigger will make a room look bigger and too small will shrink a room.

You two are blummin hilarious!! "Stop shopping"...followed by "I've just placed a net a porter order" 😂😂😂 We agree no more tables and Charlie should think about putting the taller table back between the chairs as it's a drinks spilling disaster as you can knock your glass against the chair when picking it up, as you got to get hold of the top of the glad versus the bottom or stem. Also you have to lean over to see where your drink is. So maybe a table in-between the two heights. We know this from experience of having lots and lots and lots of occasional tables, as my Mummy darling had a bit of a fetish for them at one point. I put ban on her table buying, but she banned me from buying lamps...so it's only fair! 🤷😂. Butler's trays are very handy,as we have one on our large footstool this evening with the port, candles and chocolates. Saves on space when you have a lot of Christmas decorations. And yes Charlie should have bought both trays and not another table...he will regret it 😉 So enjoyed watching the vlog...cheered us no end. Much love xx

That red dress is amazing and looks great on you as if made for you

ooo you could get some pearlescent pink paint and paint the heel (might need to research on what kind would adhere to perspex the best) but it could be a fix. I noticed a lot of the actual Mach & Mach ones had perspex or clear acrylic accents. The brand 'Alias Mae' has brought out some mid-range dupes but they are in a satin finish and don't have the sequins.
