my genre is metal, 3 years ago when my 13 year old daughter repeated his song 'attention', i heard that bass, to only find out it wasnt really a bass, it was a plugin for charlie's keyboard, that's when i gained respect for this young dude, he's badass, not only that , he was in Berklee college of music, just listen to this song ,that keyboard solo says it all, talented dude

@Patrick Bullard YES. Puth and Collier play together sometimes. If you are looking for a segway into jazz from Puth, I'd check out FKJ and Moonchild (especially if Collier is overwhelming). As far as just straight up jazz - Sony Stitt, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, etc

I've recently discovered Charlie Puth and have become a fan of his music. He writes great songs and I love the versatility in his voice. And unlike many current songs, Charlie's songs have really good melodies which I greatly miss in most of the music out there now.

Exactly same. I have a really narrow taste in music , and generally like the songs which get my attention and are kinda groovy. Voice notes is the GOAT album, I like every fucking song off it. Man's a genius. No other album in which I have even tried all songs. But voicenote is on another level
