Charlie Gracie tells Tom about his career and musical history.
Charlie Gracie is a musical rock 'n' roll legend. He was born as Charles Anthony Graci on May 14, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His father worked at Stetson Hat Company and bought Charlie his first guitar after World War II. Charlie's father encouraged him to play the guitar after Charlie asked him to buy him a trumpet. When Charlie was 16 years old he performed on the Paul Whiteman television show in 1952. From there, he became a recording artist and stage performer. Charlie continues to perform to this day and he took some time off before the COVID arrived in the United States to talk with Tom about his history and musical career.

R.I.P. Charlie Gracie. 17 December 2022. A legend in our lifetimes.
Fortunate to see Charlie in his last couple of years performing @ Rose Tree Summer Festival and Goshen Fair in Pa. Wonderful and engaging performer. A true and gracious man who engaged with us after the shows. An original who will be missed but makes Heaven a better place. RIP Mr. Gracie.
