I've really missed seeing Charlie. He's a gem of a celebrity whom people really like--and he needs more awareness. I'm hoping that moment comes with Daredevil on the big screen. Though I can't imagine it being better than the Netflix/Marvel writing. I sure hope that they exceed it. To the future...

​@@mahirhunt117 The person that wrote The Dark Knight Returns comics literally wrote Daredevil comics which is where all the comparison began stemming from decades ago. In no way this is disrespectful, they are very similar characters that shared the same writer and were similar in the comics. Batman is a much more known hero though, that is the only reason we say DD is Marvels Batman because Batman has had success in mainstream for the past couple of decades while DD is just getting started.

"When i found out I just said 'Born again'. . . " Dang. He was hinting at what was to come all along.

Matt had a fakeout death at the beginning of season 3 where his friends had to mourn losing him before he came back, and then the character of Matt Murdock was lost and mourned by his actor before he ended up coming back.

Gotta appreciate actors like Charlie so wholesome and shows compassion. He absolutely fucking kills it as Matt Murdock and Daredevil. Him and Patrick Wilson are hidden Gems in Hollywood

Charlie Cox did such a great job as Daredevil. I was fascinated with the character from the release of the first comic. I am fortunate enough to have owned first issues of Spiderman, The Incredible Hulk, The Fantastic Four, Thor, and Daredevil. Wow, if I had all of those now! There was always something different about Matt Murdoch though - his one recognizable 'super power' compensated (well, probably more than compensated) for a perceived disability. The rest of what he was seemed to ride on his will alone. Charlie brought that to a new, visceral level. I am really hoping to see him in the suit again.

I was there that day - we missed the interview because we waited a total of 4 hours in line for the meet and greet tokens, the autographs on our comics and the photographs - so afterwards we decided to get food instead of making it to the interview on time - but by then the theatre was already full. He was lovely and we had a lovely chat. God bless him what a kind soul.

We need a Charlie Cox Daredevil movie.

Currently there is no better actor depicting a superhero character. RDJ was fantastic as Tony Stark but I would still give it the edge to Cox.

Charlie is phenomenal.

It's nice to see actors loving their roles with great passion

He describe Matt Murdock like how Hiddleston would talk about Loki. Seriously, what’s with these British theater guys? They seem to pour so much work in understanding their characters that even though these characters are villain-ish in nature, they make it work.

Wow at the 22 or 23 mark he is dropping subtle hints that he was doing a spider man cartoon and daredevil born again show which is hilarious in retrospect

Thank you for sharing this interview. Charlie always has great stories. I only wish you could see his expressive face better. I'm happy to hear he is branching out in his roles though. He was fabulous in KIN and I'm sure he'll be just as good as an MI 6 agent in a series he is shooting now for Netflix called Treason. He 's too good of an Actor to be defined by 1 role.

I stayed in the hotel next door to where Charlie and Tom were doing that play in NY in November 2019 and I really regret not going to see that show now, but man what a weird feeling knowing you spent a week in the building next door to Daredevil and Loki

He said in this interview that he's already received "the call" from Marvel, and big shows like this (Daredevil will have 18 episodes making it the longest show) are planned well over a year in advanced. It's not that hard to believe that Marvel just told their main star the name of his own show.

the line up outside was not organized at all, i was waiting for an hour to get in but they ended up just closing it before i could. :( lol there was a storm of angry people who had waited for hours.

What a really great guy. I mean really incredible. That show was absolutely amazing and so much of that was because of the writing-let's face it. But Charlie's portrayal of Matt is unparalleled. I just wish in the later scenes he continued to act more "blind". In the first season or two, I really bought that he was blind and it really added a lot to the character, but in the later seasons, he made far too much eye contact with costars, I feel.

Not really? In S3 Matt spent a lot of time pretending to be sighted, like when he staked out Fisk's penthouse, went to prison and pretended to be Foggy, etc so maybe that's what you're confusing as "acting less blind"? Also Matt spent most of the time in the black costume with his eyes covered so idk how you can say Charlie acted less blind and made a lot of eye contact when 80% of S3 is him in the black suit/mask instead of unmasked Matt

I watched S3 quite closely, even in the scenes where he’s pretending to be sighted he doesn’t make eye-contact with the person he’s talking to. And I remember thinking, ‘isn’t the fact he’s not looking anyone in the eye kind of a giveaway?’ so I’m not really sure what you mean
