Everything..Chaplin is funny person, romantic, humble, and alone. 🙂

I laughed harder at that than most comedies I've seen in at least 5 years.

Never can forget the best Charlie Chaplin

That chair was certainly the star of this scene.

I'm amazed that these deleted scenes from Chaplin's films have survived! Hours of footage and even entire films from that era haven't been so lucky. Especially those shot on nitrate stock. I know Chaplin did a lot of his own editing, he must have kept an archive of deleted footage or something.

Unfortunately, Chaplin burned a lot of his unwanted footage.

I watched this clip probably a thousand times and only just now realised Chaplin looks at the camera everytime our attention is focused elsewhere. Not only was he still being a good director, he knew when to do it during the film. Goddamn legend

Hahaha. Charlie is the King of comedy / Master of all the artists. No dialogue! The actors who are doing along with, is equally doing great. Well done, the whole team. 👏👏 👏 May God bless their families.
