Every fandom has one character who is so innocent, and so pure and good just to be good that the fallout of their death can never be put into words. I call it the Dobby Effect, and Charlie is this fandom's Dobby. She didn't deserve it, but she went through with it for them.

The Dobby Effect. I love that. Dobby didn't deserve to die and neither did Charlie or Kevin. I won't forgive the writers for killing them, nor will I forgive JK Rowling for killing Dobby and Fred. ❤

Soul Sword yeah it's looking dicey, although the latest foreshadowing for cas's death would be pretty much placing cas unequivocally as dean's love. if they give us destiel through cas dying then i'll be horribly impressed by their cruelty, I must admit :S

WibblyWobblyEtc It's a video game. **spoilers for LiS** The main character Maxine "Max" (who finds out she can rewind time) reunites with her old best friend Chloe who for some reason dares Max to kiss her and then basically all the players ship them and then at the end of the game you have to choose whether to sacrifice Chloe and save Arcadia Bay (the place where they live) OR let a massive tornado take the town and everyone in it and run away with Chloe. If you choose to kill Chloe, they kiss (for realsies this time) and basically confess their love for one another before she dies.

I was glad to see demon Dean take out the family that took out Charlie accept for the one innocent in the family. But that is life.

even 2 years later Charlie's death still hurts. If one character in this series genuinely deserved a happy ending it was her. Felicia Day really helped define the character and make her real for a lot of people, including me. So please, somebody at SPN please, find some way to bring her back as a cameo, or a flashback or something, because her character really helped to humanize Sam and Dean, and give them a much needed connection to the world outside of hunting, and at least one fan wants that back.

Even 7 years latter it still hurts.

During last week's episode, they should've put in Charlie in the place of Kevin or had them both. Now that I'm typing this, I realize that Kevin and Charlie would've been good friends wow I'm sobbing again what the shit.

yeah I wished that too but Kevin was a prophet so it made sense for Chuck to have him there.

Charlie was my favorite. Maybe even above Dean, Sam, or Cas. I related to her so much, and she's gone. Her death was dumb, and whoever idea it was to kill her off, should be ashamed. Maybe if they killed her off in a more heroic way, or later in the series. Dean loved her, Sam loved her, and she loved them back. I know this is just a show, but man. She did not deserve to die in a motel bathroom, by a one handed man. Charlie is stronger that that. Carry on Charlie, and may you never be forgotten.

the writer who created her, Robbie Thompson was just as angry when they killed her off. its just another one the reasons why I hate Buckleming's writing. if it were up to me i'd bring robbie back to the show and have him write all the episodes.

Supernatural and KZread I think that's the point of her death. She was so perfect. She was pure and happy and loved, but she made one fatal mistake: she became a hunter. No one leaves the life alive, and for her to die in a motel bathroom shows how unforgiving the life of a hunter is.

The idea was Robert Singer - the producer, not the character. Jim Michaels, Thompson and Berens disagreed with it. Singer insisted due to his incessant need to leave only Sam and Dean when he runs the show. It is the source of many of my rants.

Charlie definitely deserved more screen time. She was such an amazing character. I hope she comes back in the future.

This always makes me want to sob. Charlie was one of my favorites and how they killed her off was horrible, and the timing could not of been worse. She just met Cas. It wasn't fair, even though life isn't fair. Especially in Supernatural.

Charlie was amazing. She was my favourite female character that was in the show, in the whole 11 seasons so far. Of course I love Rowena but nothing compares to Charlie. She was... she was something. She was amazing.

I just can't, this made me sad but at the same time happy that she wasn't just some character that they decided to have. She was much more... She deserved more.

I miss Meg, Jo and Charlie. I mean, cmon, the greatest female characters have been killed. Meg was interesting as a demon but she was a badass too (i mean megstiel, my love), jo's death was stupid (although i cried D:) and Charlie... no words, i hoped she will be alive.

This just broke my heart into a million tiny pieces. Very well done.

amazing video! her death was sad I cried and felt numb all night after watching that episode. I don't find the death pointless though. Dean had to be pushed over the edge in order for the Mark of Cain to take full control and this was definitely the push. And by George I could watch him kill the Stynes 20x in a row. Possibly their death is my favorite scene of season 10. Again great job!!

Honestly if you think about it, Charlie was probably better off dying the way she did. If they brought her any further into Sam and Dean's lives she would of broke. She would of lost her self. Whyyyy did I have to find this right after making a video including ranting about how pointless her death was and how much I hate Singer for it? You punched me RIGHT in the feels. First pain, then back to rage mode. It's horrendous to know almost the entire staff argued against doing this and one particular dickbag producer pretty much insisted on it, accomplishing NOTHING aside from sequestering Sam and Dean from contact again.

this is one of the best tributes ever. I am sick of them killing of everybody so much, Bobby should've been the last one to die.
