Appreciate Charli XCX collaborating with dnb/garage/experimental pop producers, she’s bringing the genres into the mainstream and even allows time for the beat to have an opportunity to shine, like in the chorus!
I don’t have any doubt of why this woman is a hitmaker genius. Her music is made to enjoy it and dance at the same time. Long live Charli
Crash has been garnering excellent reviews, for an exceptional pop star. Charli is a gem! She deserves the world

I was watching the performance and I realized that her voice actually got better and healed I guess? She said in an interview a few years back that she used effects on her voice because she damaged it. I'm glad it got better !

I was so happy to see her come out of the box on SNL. Both performances were so iconic and beautifully executed. Her hair, the choreography and she just seems like she’s having the time of her life. The definition of a true artist is seeing them perform live and these were both defining moments in her career this night. Good job Charli XCX!!

@@zimamoroznaya I agree. It’s more like a cover than a sample. Which is not a bad thing. I just think it’s a more appropriate way to describe it. Because it’s “sampling” the melody, the beats and the lyrics. Sure the lyrics are slightly different but all covers take artistic liberties.
I loved this performance, the dancing, the commitment, etc! I wish she'd taken the lead vocal all the way back and trusted in herself bc she could've nailed it live but that kept this from being one of the top SNL performances I've seen. Still awesome though! And how she rolled with and handled the silks blocking her camera shot? Profesh
