This the one. No character or antics, just straight facts. I’m 29 now. Grew up in the same neighborhood. Had a mother that valued education and worked harder. As such, she kept me looking right. Niggas broke in our apartment twice in a 3 wk period, first time being my prom day. I took my ass college and really never looked back. Graduated law school in 2019. Niggas showed more love to the Nigga getting out of prison.

The older I get, I see alot of the shit we glorify is BACKWARDS. Making it, and then going back to the Hood??? Not to say we shouldn’t go back, but what is the point of pulling up in foreign cars, with designer clothes on, stacks of money, and jewelry around your neck? To say you made it? Cause these rappers can cap and say they doing it for “motivational purposes” but most of those people in the hood really DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT THAT. 9/10 the rappers ain’t doing shit but coming to show off, so They’ll kill a rapper before they’ll rob him.

i love CW and he always speak the truth even in this but i also feel like YAKs comment is easliy misunderstood or thought out like was he saying they are llterally scared but even then its kinda what CW is talking about you are scared to go back and have these ppl talk to like that or act a certain way or rob you for what you did or have to deal with all the ppl wanting to be around you for clout... it can be SCARED or just scared of all the BS you gotta put up with like the fear of what may happen even tho its the most minor shit but that minor shit gets seen by a big group or someone post it off live and now the whole world is judging you off this minor BS the fear off that can easily make you scared to leave your new bubble... YAK different too like he a certified steppa from the HOOD where they known right under chicago in terms of crazy mfs that will kill you for no reason, he imagining his life as alot of these dudes that claim they from the streets or they hood because what other metric can he judge from to him HOOD means this but to others they might go back to their hood everyday but are literally scared to go to YAKs hood. they both right just took two routes and might have been going to the same place imo...

Anyone who promotes going back to the hood, is either an industry plant or highly insecure. Be strong young men, walk on your own two feet and walk farther than anyone has in your hood, boys are insecure that they never develope into a man by venturing on their own. It's a cold world, it's hard out here in these gutters. Working this concrete jungle ;that is society, that will tear any gangmember in two if they are ever caught on their own. That's why they cling to each other like crabs, struggling, neither strong enough to pull themselves out or hold onto an express ticket out. Stuck in a bucket called the hood.
