As a person who has worked with people in the industry... MOST PEOPLE will take advantage no matter how cool they seem. Don't get tricked based on how a person seems,. It's ALL business. You met in a business context so don't think otherwise. Most people I've dealt with in the industry were shady. Why? You're dealing with money. It seems like they care about you but it's your money.
