the damn thing has story telling and dialogues of a level that not many shows or movies have.

@@ingvarrvargard It is a masterpiece, the quality of the dialogues, the relationships, the story, the cinematography, it is wonderful and it is a blessing to be able to see such a masterpiece.
Vane was a great character. Too bad he had shit-taste regarding women.

Nah man, he had excellent taste in women. He was immediately attracted to probably the strongest-willed woman on the whole island. Problem was she was too strong for him. And he was also too strong for her. She was the unstoppable force, and he was the immovable object. Funny, it killed them both. God, what a good story this show was.

She said it herself. She was always in his shadow and couldnt settle for this. The tragic was they were booth strong willed leaders of the pride, but there can only be one. Hence they never worked out. Imagine two CEOs its not functional. He had plenty of other women thou, but always one true love. And that killed him.
