Jacob, you are our Robert Ripley. You take us to places we only wish to go, and add such entertainment and humor to it.

We love this guy, his visits to these places are thorough, we see everything, good job.
Charles Schulz was a national treasure. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Being in my late 60’s now, I have many fond memories of the Charlie Brown books and animations. Thanks Jacob for bringing us alone despite all your vehicular challenges! We appreciate You.
Nothing against San Francisco but it was great to see a smaller city with some interesting things that I haven’t seen before. Enjoyed it!
Thank you for reminding us that it's not about how many times you fall down, it's about how many times you get up. Happy St. Patrick's Day Jacob.

What you describe of San Francisco makes it sound like a pretty rough place to avoid. Stay safe Jacob!

Mass poverty does make things harder. But this happens all over the country, do not ever leave items of value in your car, anywhere. Leave things at home or locked in your hotel and take transit/walk. I've been all over CA and Lived in L.A and I never was robbed ever or had anything stolen. If you leave a car full of luggage, bags, clothes, you will become a target everywhere, use common sense. As poverty increases so will crime and desperation.

A woodstock (also known as a lickie) is a bird species that is part of a bunting family. It is very closely related to the northern cardinal. There are more than 155 species of woodstocks.

I didn’t know it was a real bird.
I absolutely remember my first Ripley’s experience as a kid, at Myrtle Beach, & was equally blown away. I had no knowledge of anything about Ripley at that time, so going in blind was astounding to me, kept going back yearly even tho the exhibits pretty much stayed the same.
Thank you for bringing me along as you explore all the wonderful things I would love to see. Safe journeys.
There's a Ripley's at Cavendish Beach, Prince Edward Island, in Canada. You should plan a trip!
You are always a great purveyor of The Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museums, n that was a classic iconic goal that you accomplished visiting every facility in U.S.A.!!!! I totally remember the newspaper cartoon n the TV program of Ripley's as well!! You are a modern day version of Robert Ripley, n that is a total compliment!!! Double Attaboys, Carpetbagger!!!
Another great video Jacob! I love Charlie Brown and the peanuts gang! Thanks for filming this I had no idea that even existed. Safe travels!!!
When I was little my Grandmother used to tell me about places she visited in England she was born in Wolverhampton before immigrating to Canada, one place she told us about was a weird house with sloped floors where a ball would roll up instead of down, we were so surprised one week when the house was featured in the newspaper column of Ripley’s believe it or not, I was 7 when Mr Ripley died, I too was excited to visit the first Ripley Museum in Tennessee. Sad to visit his grave, but love visiting these places with you. Thank you so much.
Super Cool ice rink n St.Patricks Day snoopy statue n all the interactive art on the grounds are all excellent features of this awesome museum, n I still love seeing it at age 65 yrs old today!!! Attaboy, Carpetbagger, another great video subject!!!
Lol! Love following the ups and downs of your traveling adventures, Jacob. It's interesting to watch you trying to either cry or just laugh about the whole thing. You are inspiring, my friend!
Hi Jacob! This was one of my favorite vlogs! I started following you because of the Ripley's you visit. Everything else has been a bonus. I'm a huge Peanuts fan & this museum brought back so many good memories of my childhood. I'm not able to get out much anymore so I look forward to your wonderful tours. Much love to you & Jen & many blessings💜 Thanks for sharing your lives with us!
My ex-boyfriend was friends with Charles. Charles had the nickname of Sparky. They used to do Christmas shows at the skate arena. Charles’s favorite part was when Snoopy performed. Snoopy was his favorite character he drew. He also played hockey. Sparky was a very cool person. Thanks for bringing back memories!

Hey Jacob I commented a few videos ago for you to visit the Charles Schultz museum I'm glad u stopped by 👍✌️
Best labyrinth channel! More labyrinth / nature walks please!
Every day Shulz would take his lunch in the Warm Puppy Cafe, inside the ice rink. They still keep the reserved sign for him on a table by the window.

I can still remember having a hot dog and chips in a paper dog food bowl about 55 yrs ago...
I have been to the Charles Schulz museum and loved it
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" (1965) is one of only a few animated children's "major-network" specials that actually acknowledges the birth of Jesus Christ. I think "The Little Drummer Boy" (1968) does as well.
Seeing you happy today in my neck of the woods made me smile. If still in Sonoma County, hit Bodega Bay for the Birds filming locations, then Goat Rock Beach where the Goonies final scenes were filmed. And a little north in Healdsburg is some of the original Scream locations including the water fountain.

I used to go to Goat Rock 50+ yrs ago but I never heard about the Goonies connection. Back in the early 70s my dad would take us to Bodega Bay and stop at the school house when you could still play on the monkey bars and stuff. As we drove through the DT he dramatically described the scene as he pointed out the location. As kids it was so real and kinda scary but fun, after lunch we'd go to the beach for a few hours and then go back to Santa Rosa...
Thank you Jacob. This is by far my favorite museum. I love Charlie Brown characters. Snoopy is my favorite. I named my Chihuahua after him. He lived to be 18 years old.. I am so glad you chose this museum. Plus the grave of Robert Ripley. I have only been to one Ripley's Believe It or Not and that was in Arlington Texas before It and the Wax Museum burned down.. Stay safe.. 💕
Wow I never realized about the pronunciation of his last name. I loved Charlie Brown Christmas. I heard that he didn’t like the special’s jazz music. But they wanted him to remove the scripture message and he refused to and I always loved that about him! Also, notice on his drawing easel how the lower middle section is discolored from all his years of drawing. Thanks so much for taking us to places we’d never get to go!
Love Charlie and the gang to this day. Never miss the holiday specials. Thank you for doing this video.
Wonderful to see your real joy and realization of what inspires your own creativity....thanks for sharing in such a genuine way
I love Snoopy. I wish I would have known that place was around 5 to 6 years ago when we were in Sac, then SF, and down to Monterey. That ice skating rink was amazing. I love Ripley. I have only been to a couple of them, but they are great. My advice is to keep out SF and come back later. Keep safe, cruising carpetbagger!!
I always favored Snoopy over Mickey Mouse any old day. He was always such a happy little dog. It was so sad that he died so fast after he drew his last strip, it made his final message to his fans so much the sadder.
Love Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Glad to see Ripley's grave is so much better cared for. A few years ago History Hunters visited the cemetery and it was very neglected.
We've got a soft spot for Mr. Schulz! Nice tour!
I've always wanted to go to the Schulz museum and just haven't made it up there, need to do so! Peanuts was the storyboard of my life, so maybe that's why it has appealed to so many people for so many years! By the way "Sparky" was Schulz's nickname, not the early name of Snoopy. Interesting that Ripley was an inspiration to you, Peanuts was to me, and here they are in the same town so to speak!

Thanks for taking us with you on your journeys.
If this is a sample of what you'll cover while avoiding Frisco, then don't bother with San Fran. I love seeing all these places that we might never see otherwise. Thank you.
Hey Jacob thanks for bringing back some memories for me. I was born and raised in Santa Rosa. My dad was goid friends with Charles aka Sparky they would go golfing quite a bit. My dad was president with a company called ABP and he had golf balls with the ABP logo on it and he asked Charles if he would put woodstock on the golf balls as well Charles agreed. I remember so many childhood memories around Christmas time going to the Snoopy ice arena. On a side note my wife Alexandria and I are huge fans of your videos thank you for sharing your fun adventures with us.
That was so cool. I could tell how much you enjoyed making this blog. That's how much I enioyed watching it.
Speaking of Ripley's, I hope you can make it back to Wisconsin Dells to see the new Ripley's Museum there. I think their new exhibit is opening this Spring. They also have a new plaza and a go-kart track. Safe travels!
Got excited seeing you go through the peanuts museum 😊
Thank you for all you do. You totally make my day. 😊❤
I love that you went to the Charlie Brown Museum! Because I've never been there but want to someday. I think this museum was threatened by wildfire a few years ago. I'm so glad it was spared...
JACOB I love how calm you are. You never loose it or cuss. What patience . I love you man. My mom.loves Peanuts Gang !!! 💗🖤💗
As a long time fan of the believe it or not curiosity - you’re the Robert Ripley of our generation and I really appreciate that about you.
Good to see you back on the road again Jacob i do really enjoy watching your travels in the USA from here in the UK 👍
Great video! I love labyrinths too. The original Denver Elich amusement park moved out closer to downtown but there is a labyrinth on the floor of the carousel gazebo in the original location. Also Estes Park Colorado had a Ripley museum back in the 1970s but no more. Casa Bonita restaurants fountain has water in it now. You did a video on it when it was closed. It is going to open up again in May this year under South Park founders ownership. They promise the food will be great. Whoopee! So come to Colorado again.
I'm so glad KZread recommended you to me. We're the same age and have a lot of the same interests. I love looking at obscure things when I travel as well and your videos have been such a joy to watch. I joined your Patreon as well and look forward to receiving a post card!

Excellent video! Really enjoyed the museum. Job well done.
I’m from SF and that’s a good call not visiting the city with all those bags in your car. But beware, the auto burg problem is Bay Area wide. You really can’t leave anything in your car around here.
The last spring we were in San Francisco & the only rental car they had was a hatch back. There were three of us and we took turns staying with the car. The one place we felt safe enough to leave the car was at the Disney Family Museum.
That church of the one tree at the end of the video, the window on that church reminds me of the window in the painting American Gothic.
I was a janitor at a premier body shop for years your experience is completely normal
Awesome Work Jacob, Thanks 👍👍👍 Greetings from Helsinki, Finland 🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸🇫🇮🇺🇸
Hi Jacob! Was just in the city a few weeks ago...went to Golden Gate Park and parked in a garage ...everything was fine. GGP was beautiful...the California Academy of Sciences is a must see.
I mostly grew up on the peanuts Christmas special that came out in 1992. We had it on video tape from a shell gas station. Also I have a black and white beagle mix who looks like snoopy
I used to have a newspaper page hung on my wall featuring Charles Schulz’s first and last comic. Should’ve laminated it because it got torn in time.
You bring us to great, intreresting and strange places. You present it in a fun and playfil way😊
Another awesome video as always Jacob keep up the amazing work
Safe travels, Jacob ❤️ Happy Saint Patrick's day ☘️
Love the peanuts comic strip I have the yellow biography book it's paperback book it has 600 pages with pictures in it. When Charles Schultz had that brain cancer in the pass I had a catalog in it they made a section were you can buy some items to donate to his cancer research. This video is interesting today. Thanks for sharing Jacob. Awesome 😎🤘📸 when you buy an item in it the money goes to his cancer research.

Hey Jacob if your heading east, first off are you heading north up to Oregon and Washington, or are you heading to Nevada and Utah and going from there?
Aww the peanuts! Love them. Nasa is doing a collab with Snoopy and I love it 🥰 Good old times !
Great video Jacob and as always safe travels
OMG, you were here! I can’t believe I missed you.
The poodle in Snoopy's glasses that he's in love with is Fifi Loved this video as I'm an avid Snoopy collector.
Wine tasting wasn't something I thought I'd ever see Lucy put on a to do list. A shocker. I always looked at her as a kid too.
A lil advice never leave the vehicle running when it is over heating. Not even for 60 seconds of vlogging. Glad u got it all worked out. Keep on trucking Jacob
Very interesting video, enjoyed what you said about Ripley being the first travel blogger.
Hi Carpetbagger, I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience in SF! I live in the city and would love to see you explore it again. Pretty much the only way to prevent car break-ins is to make sure there is absolutely nothing visible in your car. This includes phone chargers, empty bags, garbage, suitcases of course. NOTHING. With that said, parking in touristy or economically depressed areas (fisherman's wharf, downtown/tenderloin, the mission, etc) makes your car a more likely target. It's a real bummer but can be avoided with some preplanning. And no, there's no solution in sight. 😒 Anyway, thanks for your content!
It's cool to see an actual mention of st Paul mn I pretty much grew up there I went to school there etc. I remember seeing all the snoopy statues back in the day I moved back to my birth state of Wisconsin I truly appreciate seeing vids of you in MN and wis thanks Jacob 😊 I too loved that show too as a kid I'm into all that stuff too the strange the occult cryptids etc keep it up love it !!!!
The Schulz museum makes me cry. My beautiful mother introduced me to Peanuts when I was a baby.
Thank you for existing. We real humans love you. Cars Are just a vessel a long the way, shit breaks, keep moving forward.
Most major cities have parking garage problems. The one in Boston across from the New England Aquarium has awful reviews with all kinds of issues. I try to take local public transportation as much as possible to avoid issues with parking.
Charles Brown was a fellow artist at the school Schulz went to for art and a good friend. Charles Shultz, the character of Charlie Brown was named after his friend but it was about Sparky...Schultz. It was very autobiographical. He passed away the very day that his comic strip ended. It was my favorite comic strip growing up, I sent him a Red Baron kite that his family flew many years ago.
Cheers Jacob🍻 Happy St. Patrick's Day🍀💚 Sending you good vibes and lots of luck🐞💜💜 Yes,Please stay away from San Francisco🙀 At least for a while.
7:08 thank you for making me realize that Charlie brown is named after his creator
The image of Snoopy dive-bombing Linus(?) looks like something from Calvin and Hobbes. 😀
This my dream come true this and going to the berry farms. I hope one day 🙏🏾 greetings from Costa Rica
Carpetbagger, your videos are the best to brighten my day,
So bummed I missed this episode! This is my hometown!
Snoopy's plane is a Sopwith Camel, so don't let it bite you!😂 Both the Charlie Brown Christmas and the Great Pumpkin are a must watch every year. I can't blame you for avoiding the People's Republic of San Francisco. Once burned, twice shy.
Snoopy in the peanuts, reminds me of Cedar Fair you’re right. 😎👍🏻💯
Dude…Awesome job on this video. I live in Santa Rosa and you covered all of Schulz and Ripley perfectly. ❤❤❤
You absolutely made the right decision not to go to San Francisco. Crime is terrible there. RIP Robert Ripley.
Hello Carpetbagger thanks for the video 😊
Love that shows & movies
Glad you are ok Jacob!
I hope your. Luck chages thank you for all the adventures looking forward to more 😊
Hi Jacob glad to see you back on the road with the nice new wheels...XXX
Hey Jacob! Glad you're back on the road again! If you're not too far from San Jose, I highly recommend checking out the world's largest Chuck E. Cheese location there!
When will you be getting the pressed pennies back? Love collecting them. Love watching your adventures and the places you visit.
I live in Santa Rosa! The museum it’s such an amazing place to visit, I remember visiting when they had the Alice in wonderland exhibit. You should visit the Walt Disney museum in SF or go to skywalker ranch. 😊
Explosions and ninja fighting!? What the hell were you watching as a kid at Christmas? 🤣
Pandemic really hurt. It caused to many small business and suppliers to go bankrupt and have to quit. That just leaves us with a very frustrating supply chain. Unfortunately I think it will take close to a decade or more to come back from that. It may sound crazy but it really looks that way. It’s going to take new people to step up and start up a business to get supply moving. Not to mention all the border back up which doesn’t help!! Sorry for the issues. It’s so frustrating 😡😡
You can take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) to San Francisco. That way you don't have to drive into the city. I would suggest taking it out of Dublin or Pleasanton. You can park at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton, and there is a BART station pretty much in the parking lot. There are many hotels in the Pleasanton area as well.
I really enjoy your channel!!!!
Reverse in ice skating means that everyone should change direction and circle the rink in the opposite direction to which they have been going.
You could always get up early and take BART in San Jose or the NE suburbs

Before you head east you should check out Jamestown CA. You can check out where Back to the future 3 was filmed and see the old train that was used in the movie. Not far away is also Columbia state park and Caves you can explore.
