Brother Capps’ teaching has helped changed my life! Me and my mom! And my sisters and my moms best friend! Jesus and the Father have been a mystery to me for so long and I prayed so wrong. I didn’t understand the promises. I didn’t understand that it’s God’s will for me to have joy and be full. I thought it was for special people. Or for others but not me. Satan had me so confused. I thought it was a blessing to be poor. Ha. Lies. Satan is a liar. Everyone I want to warn and encourage you. When you start calling things that are not....Satan will attack you! He attacked me in this way...he brought me drama and tried to get me in unbelief. He brought me pain and tried to inflict horrible thoughts on my mind and convince me that I will never and can’t change! When I held fast to the Word...Satan saw it wasn’t working. Because now I know too much. I’ve seen too much. I have authority. I have dominion. My words are powerful. That’s the way my Father designed me and the world. So Satan tried to distract me by bringing some earthly desires to me. Earthly desires are okay...but not when they interfere with our walk with Christ. Satan is too cunning. He’s swift. But thank God we have authority over him and all his angels. Hang tight brothers and sisters! Don’t give up. Continue calling things that are not.

@B D I hope you have your prayer pattern figured out. If not, here is a simple guide: address the Father, thank him, praise him him, present your heart, and speak what is not seen but believed. Always firmly ending in the name of his precious Holy Lamb, the Christ. May God bless your efforts!

Whos still listening to Charles Capps in 2023? Prayer is not vain repetition but asking for God's divine intervention for your problem. You must ask to get heaven to intervene in the name of Jesus. Call for supernatural intervention in the earth.

God is good ALL THE TIME, he's trying to get the wrong teachings out of our heads. I learnt "the power of the spoken word" in 2000. The Father told me:" I created the whole universe by speaking; you are made in my image so you create when you speak too." That made me arrest my mouth and thought and control what I spoke.

I need prayer for my marriage. We have been together for twenty - seven plus years. Since the age of seventeen I've been with him . Pray like this Lord you have blessed my marriage. Say this for at least 30 minutes or for an hour. Praise The Lord for he is good his mercy endures forever Or Any praising psalms Remember the 3 men who were thrown in the fire for not bowing down to the king in the old testament They started praising God without ceasing they never got burnt. When you praise God,you get your desire faster Praise in the mist of all your troubles,sorrows etc. Keep praising whenever you are free in between your work Speak your desires and praise God

I hear what he is saying, but there is no marriage in heaven. Is he saying that praying for marriage is outside of God's will? This can be applied to many other concepts.

Marriage is a tradition. Pray for love, not for marriage. Marriage is what we as humans decide between ourselves once we have found love or someone that we want to spend the rest of our life with. So getting married is in our control usually, and is our own decision.

Marriage is biblical. God ordained marriage. I prayed for my husband according to God's word. One who is saved,love God more than he would loved me, because if my husband did love God more than me I would be treated right. Pray that your spouse would be after God's own heart. God do give us the the desires of our hearts but they should also line up with God's word. Too many Christians marry without consulting God the Father and get what they get. Know that Our Father is concerned with every area of our lives and wants the best for his children and that is in His word. Find it in the word. You can have it.

@@irenelynette3845 yes I do agree with this teaching because he is teaching straight from the word with his own examples of experience. Kenneth Hagin who he mentioned is another. I came from a family of women shacking and or not marrying and I didn't want that. My grandmother actually told me( didn't really have a reason to say it) I would never marry. I started saying it myself until one day I declared that it was a lie straight from hell and I will not say it again. I started declaring I will marry, my husband will be a godly man, etc. This was after I listen to the truth and spoke it. I got married at the age of 43 (as you can see I believe the lie for a while) I am now 58yrs. I have a blessed marriage. If I would have gotten married in my early years I probably would have divorced but I had ask God not let me get married before time and I wanted who He had for me. I hope this helps in understanding how we can be misled by family, and wrong teaching but if we get our minds renewed with the word of God- speaking it in our regular talking through out the day, pray it, believe it, it becomes a part of our being. This goes for healing, wanting a new house, job, everything. I have for all these above and God's word have prevail in every area.
