It was good to see/hear that Crawford could accept Charlamagne's opposing point of view. That was mature and noble. I feel for Spence at this time because that was his very first loss, but I also feel for Crawford having felt unnoticed and ignored and underrated for so long - it makes sense that he'd want out of that tunnel, and now he's out. Credit to both guys for making the event.

Bud did pull back....but only to allow Spence to QUIT on his own or have his corner throw in the towel. It was revenge for Spence having the audacity to tell people he would break him! Crawford really wasn't being *"nice"* by NOT finishing him earlier. He was was punishing Errol & making a point to Spence, Derrick James and all his fans that he is not to be disrespected.

I am Australian, ex national Cruiser champ, and there was never ever any doubt to me that Crawford had those Ray Leonard skills, but with great precision, and extremely accurate. To me, Spence was just A class at world level. Crawford is sublime, even at 36 in another month.

Nah, man, you're wrong on a couple of points, I felt/know Bud held back at times. He could've hurt Spence even more and got him outta there quicker. And a lot of people predicted this would happen. Teddy Atlas, Bob Arum.. the guy knows Bud probably better than anyone. Lots of trainers, fighters, analysts...etc. saw Bud stopping him. Spence never was, is, or ever will be on Crawford's level, period.

After Bud put him down in the 2nd its like he knew he could knock him anytime. Bud the best finisher in the game the rest was entertainment for the fans and a message to the doubters. Bud can go up to 154 and snatch Charlo soul. He got him on the reach Bud will fight in the pocket and throw thunderbolts at these inside angles. Crazy bruh from a boxing perspective and art Bud on a whole different level. Bud might be the greatest.

I have watched both fighters and I am surprised by how little credit Bud gets. When you watch Bud, you literally have to be amazed at his mastery of the ring, his ability to raise his level, his dynamism and his innate boxing intellect. Maybe it’s his humility and unassuming personality but for the purists, watching Bud fight is like having a wet dream. With Errol’s pressure style, which is the only thing I have seen, I knew without a doubt that Bud would win and it wouldn’t go the distance. But I never ever imagined it would be such a dominant and one sided affair. In every sport, there are levels and Bud is on another level. For Errol to have a chance, he basically has to relearn the fundamentals of boxing and I don’t think he can, muscle memory is very hard to change. My humble opinion.

People mythologized Spence's abilities that started with a rumor he gave Floyd a black eye in sparring. But what is real about Bud is middle weight Troy Isley mentioning when sparring Terence, every time he went up a level, Terene went up a level to the point he wondered if Bud was toying with him. The question is what are Bud's limits? How does it look when he's truly challenged?

Spence would have to become a totally different fighter, but after watching that I don't see him beating any of the young guns at 147 or Tszyu at 154. Virgil Ortiz could probably put him down and let's not even bring up Jaron Ennis. Stanionis is still counting step aside money, and Blair Cobbs is always a fun match.
