Charla & Schulz React: Chris Rock PANDERING To Whites?

Watch Full Episode Here: • Bunny Or Die
Charlamagne tha God and Comedian Andrew Schulz react to Eboni K Williams calling out Comedian Chris Rock for pandering to White audiences for his new show in the run up to his live Netflix special Selective Outrage.
The Brilliant Idiots is a comedy podcast from the Loud Speakers Network featuring Charlamagne tha God, host of Power 105.1’s radio show, The Breakfast Club. Andrew Schulz is a world touring stand up comedian known for his work with MTV and
independently successful comedy projects, “4:4:1 - a comedy experience by Andrew Schulz” as well as “52 weeks of stand up.”
The Brilliant Idiots is a podcast just as unpredictable as its hosts. From power 105's hit radio show "The Breakfast Club" comes Charlamagne tha God and stand up comedy's rulebreaker, Andrew Schulz. From music, comedy, relationships, to pop culture, politics and current events, everything is on the table for analysis. But take what you hear with a grain of salt, because while their perspectives are often brilliant, they're liable to be idiotic too.

New York native and internationally touring stand-up, Andrew Schulz is known for his hilarious and unsafe comedy. He has starred in the sitcom BENDERS (now available on Netflix), can be seen in Amazon’s SNEAKY PETE, HBO’s CRASHING, and on MTV including GUY CODE and GIRL CODE.
In the podcast realm, Schulz can be heard on the wildly popular THE BRILLIANT IDIOTS - co-hosted by nationally syndicated radio and television personality Charlamagne tha God - the hilarious podcast FLAGRANT, and the film and TV analysis podcast WESTERBROS. He has made major appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, Bert Kreischer’s BERTCAST, Joey “coco” Diaz The Chuch of What’s Happening Now. He has even done solo interviews with the likes of Lil Duval and many others.
Andrew’s online presence has touched hundreds of millions of people
across the globe and his unconventionally funny approach to the comedy world has launched him into stardom. His shows Dropping In and Inside Jokes will rack up hundreds of thousands of views weekly. Nothing is off limits for Schulz, from sex to race, and even the occasional audience heckler roast, Andrew is hungry to be the best. He can be seen in New York City performing regularly at New York Comedy Club and the Comedy Cellar.

As a white person, Chris Rock has spit more truth than most white comics. Now I realize that my endorsement of the man may not sway any black people's opinions, but when I think of someone who softened their comedy for white people, I think Will Smith, Bill Cosby, and Wayne Brady. All three of those comedians had a measure of mainstream appeal but they seemed "safe" compared to Patrice, Prior, early Eddie Murphy, or Katt Williams. There is a reason that Chris keeps getting asked to host the Oscars or the Grammys or whatever. He is authentic while being funny enough to make everyone laugh.

I wonder if Eboni attended his recent shows. I saw him in Seattle with Chappelle. The thing with Seattle is we claim to be a very culturally diverse city, but it’s predominately filled with white people. So my opinion as a white dude could be skewed from that. His content in my show could’ve been different from others, but I didn’t think he pandered to white people. The joke I could see maybe upsetting people is him talking about living in a rich white neighborhood now, but I’ve heard the same premise for years now. Wish she could give an example of him pandering to white, but maybe she knows she’s bullshit lol

He dissed black women all through "Good Hair" - I mean All Through It Going so far as to tell Asian women to run if they so much as see a black woman. Hosting the Oscars also led to more pasteurization including more us vs them but the us was now rich folk, not black folk.
