I am 80 ans hâve had my spine fused into one rigid frame, 20 screws and a structure of titanium like a little EIFEL Tower in my body securing my nervous chord in place, and too many things have disappeared into the swamp of these pains and lost youth…lost little me lost in a world I never imagined could exist…so, i listened to this and a ran along the sea washing upon the beach, naked in the moonlight the wind blowing sand into my face and chest and legs and making me totally alive-just by listening to this one time I am transported to a magnificent moonlight beach in a wind like a storm but blowing vigor and hope and lovely love feelings, and transported into a realm like prayer answered, my angels come home and visit with me, and I think i am healed by this music!! How wonderful it is. And how much I loved it. I did not ever wish for it to end.

That is one of the features of a Wersi electronic Organ they even build into the design of each instrument voice, be wind or string that unique sound of wind or string vibration. I built a Wersi Helios for an old friend way back in 1980 and is still in use to this day. It gave me such an insight to the working of the organ itself complete with its 32 channel computer registration memory and auto accompaniment.

Vangelis WAS a whole orchestra... though he used alot of MIDI controllers to control all the synths he used... He couldn't read/write in the standard music notations... which meant he had others listening to it and try to transcribe what they heard...

Beautiful rendition. Bravo! I'm sure I'm not the only one here that remembers hearing the original as a child, on AM radio in the car. That is a gorgeous organ. I wouldn't have the foggiest idea of how to use it, but it seems organs have evolved quite a bit since my grandmothers' Lowreys. Quite silly of me to think that electric organs hadn't seen any technological updates over the years...

Iirc it was firstly feom an australian film about ww1, an athlete who got a job as a message runner in that war. The film ends to this music as he and his mates get called to go over the top and charge ... so, you know just how that ends up. In horrifying, slow, gruesome motion and because of the music you THINK he's goona make it, amd then reality hits. Like the machine gun bursts you see cutting him and his mates down.

@@nailman5949 But .. if it is shaped as an organ with three keyboards, why doesn't it have a pedal as well? That doesn't make much sense. You can play insane bass lines on a pedal, look up Barbara Dennerlein ...
What a beautiful instrument. It is amazing what they do with these keyboards and organs. My keyboard has a full orchestra also and other features on it but this one tops it all. The artists playing this piece is also brilliant

A song would imply lyrics recorded together with music. This crafty piece of music has no lyrics and therefore it would be more accurate to call it either a tune or a melody

What an amazing instrument this organ is.
If I hadn't watched the video I would have sworn this lovely masterpiece was performed by a whole orchestra and could never be done by one person but with your brilliant talent and this wonderful nextgen synthesizer you made it possible.

Wow and Wow again. I could listen to this forever. Absolute magic.
I've always loved the Chariots of Fire sound track. Wish I could watch the movie again. My dad was a preacher, and he and my mom when I was a kid helped in the distribution of the film.

That's amazing....I could never comprehend how pianists can use both hands at once playing....it's much more than just being ambidextrous it's crazy

Wow... quite the keyboard 🎹 Beautiful 🌴🌴
