she is by far the perfect singer of American national anthem i've ever seen she sing effortlessly..miss those old days🙌

As far as I understood, the American anthem speaks of how the flag still managed to fly in the midst of a battle in the night. That, I believe, is something so symbolic, that it triggers emotions. The Philippine anthem speaks of our being a land of the rising sun (since we are in the eastern hemisphere,too); that the Philippines and the Filipinos is our flag (and is not merely that piece of cloth); and that if foreigners dare trample on our banner, we are ready to give our lives.

Never forget that an anthem has TREMENDOUS historical significance. With that being said, the best way to sing "Lupang Hinirang" is to sing according to the original composition. The anthem was intended to inspire people to rise in arms. You can NEVER change that fact. History can never be changed, and any of our attempts to modify something of historical significance reflects our disrespect and rejection of our history as a people.
