Very soon she will win more Grammy's than anyone in the past, then she will wear the Monicker "The Worlds Greatest Vocalist". I'm married to a Dr. who grew up in Laguna so I know the singers there (even own some CD's) and they are very talented and I like lots of them. Some of my favorites are Regine, Jonalyn Viray (she's pretty), Rachael Go, and Rhap Salazar. If they're Gold, Charice is a Diamond. She's #1

I don't know Charice, just a couple of days I discovered her music. She's a really good singer for such a young girl. You can't compare her to Mariah because Mariah is a legend. The thing that continues to set Mariah apart is not only her great songs but her amazing range and control.

In this video, obviously charice wins, co'z she's singing in television, while mariah is singing in front michael jackson's dead body, she's trying to sing well, and trying to keep her tears...! Mariah was 40 here, with vocal nodules, in her vocal chords,but still can sing ,while Charice was 16 here, with no problem, in her voice.. try to compare them in same age..! Mariah from 1990-1997 WOULD ALWAYS BE a legendary vocalist..! she wins, from range,vocal quality,versatility, and everything..!
