JK’s knee injury and Achilles injury were caused by contact plays. Not from running, cutting, etc. THAT is not injury prone. The Achilles particularly was a hip drop tackle where the defender came right down on his ankle. He even got up and walked off the field with it, so it wasn’t a total tear. He will be a monster this year. I wish we had done a two year on him, but I don’t think he wanted it because he knows he is going to have a great year.

Bring back the navy blue helmets! Herbert looks amazing in navy blue in your thumbnail! This is a new team, we need a new uniform!

Its funny how much everyone craps on Johnston while also acknowledging that he was not used well at all. There is this guy in the HoF who basically only ran one route and his son was just drafted in the 1st round, Marvin Harrison. I think Johnston can be really productive for the Bolts. Also, Herbert aint throwing for 4500 yards. If he hits 4k I will be surprised. Probably close though. Any time they get a good lead he wont throw another pass.

The Chiefs still have it better & they have the best QB in the game. The Chiefs have a great fan base that will go see them play in rain, sleet, or snow. The Chargers on the other hand never appear to have any home games even though they play in great weather.

It’s such a trip to me all the heat QJ took after his rookie Season. Look at Davante Adam’s, he didn’t have A 1000+ yard rookie season. I don’t think QJ will make the jump to be like Adams, but cmon man. Give the man a break

When I found out he had over 500 yards I was like their expectations were set too high for QJ. Not his fault the coaches did not set him up to use the skill set that he actually had coming out of college. Expectations some people have for first round WRswe’re off base with QJ. Any stat research would show you he had some work to do to become a well rounded WR.

Na bro u wild for the Ladd thing and I been gave up on 1 & 5

If run defense is top 15 I say the Chargers Edge Rushers are top 6 in sacks!

I like Junior Colson for Defensive ROY.

So 12-6 and AFC West upset is an absolute possibility!!!

Brendan Rice & QJ have solid seasons, but Josh Palmer cracks 1000 yds and 5+ tuddies. Next is a "damp blanket" take: Chark & McConky get bit by the injury bug. Both are injury prone. We have a two or more game Playoff run and Harbaugh DOES win coach of the year. Lastly, Herbert wins MVP with Aaron Rodgers-esque numbers: league leading QBR and completion percentage, 4100+ passing yards, 32-4 TD/int.

Those who wanted to select a WR at 5 where willing to deprive the defense as a whole and OL as a whole.

I think Joe Alt was and is a great pick but I wanted Nabers just because of his speed and high skill ceiling. While the run may not be as good I think Nabers paired with Herbert could have been a deadly combo. That being said I was incredibly happy with the Ladd McConkey pick

If Chargers have a top 5 offense we better hope they have at least a top 15 defense! If they do they are probably playoff bound this year. If they don’t have a top 15 defense I will probably ask the question would they have been playoff bound this year if they used the 37th pick on defense. If Ladd gets The Directors predicted over 1000 yards I will be ok with the Chargers not making the playoffs this year.
