Charger R/T: E85 Tune First Impressions

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

First impressions of my E85 dyno tune on my cammed, full bolt-on Charger R/T. In this video, I cruise around town and give my initial impressions on how the car drives, the responsiveness, sound, gas mileage, etc. This car is a Charger R/T with the 5.7 L Hemi and has a pretty strong mod list.

    That awkward moment when you have to wave at your neighbors while filming your baby growling in the background 😶 Great update, and detailed explanation of that e85 life, Thanks Donny 👊

    I agree with the idle speed for driveability versus lower for the chop. Sounds really good. Looking forward to the next video.

    Driving rush hour traffic in California I can see why you would be driving like a grandma, I've only visited the LA/Hermosa Beach/Anaheim area once, and while it was an awesome trip, rush hour there was a real eye opener! haha. Cheers Donny!

    All these unknowns after modding newer tech vehicles makes me so nervous. Right now I just have a flowmaster catback but down the road I wanted to do headers,cam,valvetrain upgrade. My challenger r/t is my daily but the reliability afterwards is what scares me. Keep it up Donny

    You are never going to get rid of the surging one hundred percent until you get a torque converter. This is not an entirely a tuning issue for the ecu this seems mostly from the transmission side. If there was something on the install wrong or incorrect you would immediately know. This is not some back door you can only find with a keycode and hack into the mainframe. Engines are engines, if something was wrong like I said you would have known pretty much immediately.

  • @DonnySRT

    @DonnySRT

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yea to be honest they nailed the engine tune. I just want to fix the issue where it died on me in traffic because that was very unsafe. I can deal with the moderate surging that took place in this video

  • @DonnySRT

    @DonnySRT

    3 жыл бұрын

    I brought it up mostly to use it as a juxtaposition and emphasize how terrible my email tune was. In addition, given that it's still a street car, to some people the extra power may not be worth the added inconvenience of having to fuel up more often. It's a much more loaded question than, "why have a muscle car and worry about gas," which people like to dwell on
