There were no annoying bots, no weird side quests, no dumb vehicles, no overcomplicated gun attachments etc. It was just loot up and survive. That's why people liked it so much

@@wafers7657 facts only thing i hate about the movement is how they removed running but full sprinting feels a lot more responsive and hurdling is cool ig. 100% right about the optimization i have a 3070ti and play on performance mode on everything on low except view distance and i cant maintain 165fps

You do run. The running animation just takes bigger steps, and therefore takes fewer steps. Now people think that less steps means the speed has been cut in half

I feel like the movement isn’t as bad as everyone is making it out to be. The only bad thing is really that you can’t fully run forward like before. The sideways movement will take some getting used to but I think it will be a nice addition allowing for better movement when people get used to it. What I really can’t stand are the graphics lol. Looks like a fake realistic Fortnite knock off.

As an og player returning from chapter 1. I have to say the movement really isn't an issue, it's just that it doesn't sit right in our minds as it's not the Fortnite we know. It's something different which we need to get used to, on the bright side of things everything in game looks amazing, Fortnite has truly come a long way in its development fr. I reckon the slower movement speed means casual players like myself won't find build fights as bad as we used to since the editing speed remains the same. It wont be so much of a pain anymore as people wont build as big towers as they used to when they were shot lol. Aim seems to be more skill based. The weapons variety is very nice as well as the different element to the game, has a Call of Duty feel to it now, which is pretty cool. W season in my opinion. I think others would agree with me too when I say this tbh.

As an og player myself, obviously the movement is not great, it's something we will have to get used to. But I do feel it's a W for casual players like me regardless as the skill gap may be closer between us and the sweaty players as we are more likely to be able to keep up in build fights etc as the editing speed remains the same, you know what I mean? The og map had its nostalgia and we loved the simplicity of it, but this map is also great and there's a good variety of weapons, a W season in my opinion.

What makes u get shield are the medallions, u can collect more than one, and u will get more shield per second with that

you also collect medals and they heal you as long as you carry them but they make you visible on map with weird orange aura
