Ғылым және технология

In this video, I have explained following points:
• Perform structural analysis of simple part.
• Apply and define contact conditions (Local & Global).

Hi, Thanks for making this assembly simulation video. this is very helpful. I like to clear one of my doubt here. For any of the contact assembly simulation do we need ensure that the contact set should also be touching physically? In this your example i assume that the Pin outer diameter is equal to the plyer arm inner diameter (let me know if this is not right assumption). but in actual case there will be certain clearance maintain between the pin the the plyer holes so is it possible to run the simulation with that clearance (with out modifying the cad models to make them touch)?

Hiee vipul, welcome to my channel and thanks for asking questions. Basically contact is the connections between two points means how component are going to interact with is other is defined by it. In assembly you have given mates to connect two part, similarly in simulation you need to define the connections between parts, those mates wont be working in simulation environment. Global and local contact are the types of contact. global contact is applied all over assembly where parts touches each other, while local contacts yo need to defined which faces or edges or vertex are going to interact with each other. as per the preference local contact has high preference compare to Global contact. If you defined two parts by global as well as local contact for same entity then preference is going to local contact only.
